During the start of the pandemic, Josh Ramsay needed something to do while in isolation. He indulged himself by writing songs in as many different genres as possible. Josh explains, “My goal was to try and do as many genres as possible, so it feels kind of like a variety show. I see it as my ‘calling card’ - not just as a songwriter, but as a producer and arranger.” Aptly titled, The Josh Ramsay Show is a sweeping exploration of musical styles featuring collaborations with a wide range of Canadian singers from across the musical spectrum that rings in at 18 tracks in all. This album is a love letter to music as a whole, never sticking to the same genre twice.
Featuring: Chad Kroeger, Dallas Smith, Fefe Dobson, Ria Mae, Serena Ryder, Tyler Shaw , Fionn, Sara Ramsay, and DJ Sharkpocalypse.

My wife grew up with and introduced me to Trench, I grew up with Nickelback as my top band, and we played this song at our postponed wedding reception the day after its release. Hot damn y’all rocked it, and I love seeing the behind the scenes banter!

Other people should be taking notes on how to seamlessly blend two completely different voices together. I mean, we talk about how Josh's vocals are always getting better and better but it's clear that his production skills are constantly getting better too, not that they were bad before.

Nickelback has been my favourite band for over a decade and have loved Mariana's Trench for a criminally short time, but to see Chad teaming up with Josh, is almost as good as the day he and Avril Lavigne got married. I found this song as a great blend between the two sounds you typically expect from both nickelback and Mariana’s trench. Growing up listening to Nickelback on the local rock station, I found Trench a bit later once my mom switched from the country station to pop/todays hits. Went to see him at the concert in St Catherines in 2016 (footage from that concert being in the music video for shut up and kiss me), and oh my god. The lights mixed with the music with the closing number, the best kind of sensory overload where I was crying, just absorbing it all. You put on one hell of a show, guys.

I love Lady Mine. It’s an excellent song. I remember first time listening to it, brought me back to the good ole days. I miss the 70s-20s, everything was so much better: music…the world.
