My mother, married to a retired professional wrestler, has nothing but great things to say about both Frank & Barbara Goodish. IMO, Jose Gonzales, CarlosColon and the entire Puerto Rican territory “powers” have blood on their souls. I’d love to see the Brody story- not just the murder, but the story of Frank Goodish whose business acumen is still legendary as is his reputation for deeply loving his wife & son. Jason Momoa is the perfect actor to bring Bruiser Brody & Frank Goodish to life.

Bruiser Brody may have been a shrewd businessman, someone who spoke his mind about the wrestling business, someone who may have crossed paths with different promoters, and someone who refused to put other wrestlers over! However, at the same time, Brody saw how cutthroat the wrestling business was when no one else understood that and ended up becoming conformists as a result! The situation with Brody and Jose Gonzalez was handled in an unprofessional matter! Jose Gonzalez, with Carlos Colon's help, murdered Bruiser Brody in cold blood! I never believed it was out self defense! It was out of Gonzalez's jealousy of Brody's status as a wrestler! The way that Gonzalez handled the situation with Onita, and the so-called tribute match in "Brody's honor" was disgusting! I would like to see Barbara and Frank, Jr. get justice for Frank, Sr. (aka Bruiser Brody) But as long as Jose Gonzalez, Carlos Colon are still breathing, it will never happen! #JusticeForBruiserBrody

@StarryStarryNocturne7 жыл бұрын
I doubt either care. Carlos was smiling ear to ear at the HOF and I'm sure he considers Brody's murder a source of self-righteous, egomaniacal pride. Jose doing the Onita deal shows he wasn't sorry and probably thinks killing Brody validates him as a real tough guy and a man's man. They both couldn't have been happier all their lives having gotten away with killing someone they both felt deserved to be murdered.

Pretty clear to me he was murdered and it was covered up. The fact that Gonzales had a towel and wanted to “talk business” alone, had a knife in the towel and when he got Brody alone attacked him. Considering what Tony Atlas had seen, it sounded like a clear attack considering the severity of Brody’s injuries, and no injury to Gonzales. This has all the hallmarks of a murder motivated by revenge and getting even. The wrestling promotion should’ve been under investigation for conspiracy, I think there’s enough evidence. Also, why wasn’t it questioned why he had a knife in the first place? My first question would’ve been why were you carrying a knife in a towel into a bathroom and ask to speak to Brody alone?
@loualbino55367 жыл бұрын
Marth No one asked him that because no one gave a shit about Brody. Why didn't one of the bigger and powerful guys in wrestling,who Brody coincidently never fucked with,pull Brody to side at some point and talked to him about respecting the smaller guys in the business?
@VOAN6 жыл бұрын
They didn't ask any of that because they knew exactly what happen but doesn't care shit. Brody was warned before he went to PR and he didn't take the warning seriously. Coming to you from Puerto Rico... not one single person on this island believes that shit. Invader killed Brody, and, with the help of Carlos Colon and his own people, used his connections to cover the entire thing up. The ambulance is a dead giveaway of this. Even back then, there were ambulances available in the shows when they took place. And the day that Brody gets stabbed, there's no ambulance? Bullshit. Another theory that you didn't cover in the video, since it's more along the lines of urban legend here, was that Brody was apparently responsible for the death of Invader's daughter. See, the wrestlers would go to each others' places to blow off steam and such. In Invader's place, there was a pool and one rule: when you were done with the pool, close the gate, since there were children around the house, especially his one-year-old daughter. Brody, being the piece of shit that he was, didn't, so Invader's daughter wandered into the pool and drowned. So... enough was enough, and Invader decides to kill Brody.

Like I said, it's more urban legend over here in Puerto Rico. There isn't any solid proof that Brody did this. Invader's daughter DID die before he stabbed and killed Brody, that is true. So for all we know, he was in a dark place at the time, and took it out on Brody. I just wanted to add that story, seeing as it's often married to this incident locally.

Brody's harrassment of Gonzalez was uncalled for, but that didn't warrant murder. Maybe some sort of fear generating "dont fuck with me" torture(?) tactic, but not _murder._ Besides, Brolly's views on wrestlers being too compliant is true. absolutely terrible information. This series gives out a lot of false info. Franks wife said that Bruiser tried steroids but it mad him violently sick to his stomach so he could not use them so he wasn't a notorious user of Steroids. Also they HAD to do exploratory surgery on Bruiser because they knew he was bleeding internally. To bleed more and for pain reasons, Wrestlers of the day used lots of aspirin which is a blood thinner. That also didn't help. Franks wife in her book said Bruiser bleed out and the great length of time to get to the hospital allowed him to bleed out.

Perhaps you could do a Behind the Titantron focusing around the Von Erich family, and the deaths that would eventually befall them, I think it would be pretty interesting to talk about. And if so, maybe you could do a Behind the Titantron about Scott Steiner, focusing on all of the controversy that's followed him since becoming Big Poppa Pump

I love d brody. He didn't like giving autographs, but he shook my hand one nite after world class wrestling in the 80's. My mom met him at a camp site. He was having fun in the water with his wife and son. Brody first denied who he was, but later admitted he was Brody. Rip Brody.

Tony Atlas was lucky no one tried to do anything to him, in his quest to get the truth out.

In a interview Tony Atlas said that when he came back from the hospital, Carlos Colon had people waiting by his hotel door. So they could of been there to threaten or kill him. But he was lucky that somebody brought him his bag and then he when to the airport to leave Puerto Rico.
