Cannell Productions for Desilu/CBS Studios. Followed by "Baretta," "The Rockford Files" (for which he won an 1978 Emmy), "Black Sheep Squadron," "The Greatest American Hero," "The A-Team," "Hardcastle and McCormick," "Riptide," "Hunter," "21 Jump Street," "Wiseguy," "The Commish" and "Silk Stalkings." As well as developing, financing and producing many features such as "Somewhere in Time" for Universal, the original "Rambo" trilogy for Lionsgate/StudioCanal and both "Bill and Ted" flicks for Warner Bros. Fall Guy, Airwolf, A-Team, Black Sheep Squadron, Riptide, Magnum PI, Nightrider, 240 Robert, SWAT, The Duke's of Hazard, Chips, & a bevy of other fantastic shows really made the 80s & 90s iconic, in how they helped to mold young kids of my generation's personality, & creativity. I thank GOD for those shows back then!

I remember watching this back in the early 80's on ITV in the U.K, when it first aired. And having to wait for the show called 'the Gaffer' to finish, which was on just before. The wait was pure torture for a young kid like me, but always worth it in the end. Fantastic series, 80's tv at it's best!

Ah I was a friend of David Somerville, and Glenn, which wrote the theme song and lived in the real Fall guy house, and I also new Glenn larson, I was so lucky to know both of you guys, and will never forget both of you, so much fun going to the Fall guy house and just hanging out, the thing was, I was always a fan even before I met Dave and Glenn, so the first time David said, I live in the Real Fall Guy house, I said what, then we drove up on the hill, if you guys are reading this, and know about the Real Fall guy house, it is close to Universal Studios, in LA , Thank you so much for all the memories, miss both of you, RIP,

Lee truly is perhaps yhe best in the business. Been a HUGE fan since the "six million dollar man." I got to meet Lee at New York City's Big Apple comic con between 2010 & 2012 (give or take a year or two); what an awesome experience. One of the nicest, friendliests stars I've ever met! Will never forget shaking his hand (he gave me one of the coolest urban handshakes ever!!) Hoping to see him again one day.

4 years on from your post, but maybe something will come out with the Fall Guy film being released this year. It's not along the same line though, which is a shame. Jody was a stunt woman so quite progressive enough for these times. And the person hiring Colt for bounty hunter work was a woman too. Nope, gotta make the main female lead the woman in charge of everything.

This show is still watchable today with some fun episodes and great cast/guest stars. Airwolf... ugh... why did we think that was good? Like Knight Rider, the vehicle was 100% the star.

I remember reruns aired in syndication for the first few years after the show ended but then it seemed to leave the airwaves for forever. In the 90s eighties action shows would turn up on cable channels but not the Fall Guy. TV Land didn't even pick it up. Only the first season has ever shown up on streaming.

The Fall Guy an all time classic. And yes Heather Thomas is an very very underrated actress. I would infact put Heather up there with Lucille Ball and Kirstie Alley for comic timing. She was in an episode of TJ Hooker and I was in stitches laughing. Fond fond memories as a kid from England UK Plus Lee Majors has a very spooky Elvis vibe going on I always thought

This was my favorite TV show as a boy. In retrospect i believe this show had quite an impact on many views in my life. What makes a man a man. What is a cool car. That it's important to be helping and respectful. How is life in the USA (i am from Germany). Working hard and having two jobs to pay the bills. And so much more. The irony is that Lee Majors is STILL (some 40 years later) best remembered as Steve Austin, Astronaut, The Six Million Dollar Man. (But I guess it depends on your generation. I am sure some people recall him best here, or in The Big Valley).

Growing up in the 1980s in England my favourite shows were hill street blues, Rockford files and the fall guy. In England in the 70s and 80s we had a comedy/ drama called Minder about a bodyguard and a hit series called The Sweeney about a tough police unit in London which still get re runs to this day, Lee majors was perfect for the fall guy.
