Hi Garret...I haven't seen any of your videos for awhile--not sure why, but I haven't received any notifications of new videos by you, until this one...as always, before I ask a dumb question, I have to excuse myself by saying I'm a City Slicker...you seem to take a 3-step process with each calf--step one is you tag the left ear...step two is you administer an intramuscular injection of what I assume is a vaccine or antibiotics...step three I'm not so clear on, & I don't believe it was fully filmed (although, you seem to be reaching for your pocket knife with the 6-inch folding blade (which, I imagine, is very sharp)...so, what is step three? Also, I always enjoy seeing your wife in your videos--she just seems to radiate warmth & a loving spirit...also, I'm always pleased to hear you end your videos by saying, "Remember, Jesus loves you." I'm going through a particularly difficult time of my life right now, due to some ongoing health issues...so, it always chokes me up a little, while also lifting my spirits, whenever I hear you say that at the end...Aloha, Bill

Well welcome back! I put tags in the left ear for steers & the right ear for heifers. It’s an alpha7 vaccine to basically fight off anything they possibly couldn’t being a newborn (also has pilligaurd to fight pink eye in the future). And step 3, I casturate the bull calves.
