BEHOLD, MY RIER! The ULTIMATE Harrier Mod …

Today we are building my new Tournament Primary: Rier. A sawed off harrier that mimics the seagulls size but retains it;s larger power capacity. A lot have people have been asking me about this build since I debuted it at this years Maryland Mayhem.

Honestly I got a harrier and don’t mind it since I grip real tight HOWEVER there is absolutely no reason to do this and probably reduces strength of the shell and makes injection a little rougher :/

@@atomichandgrenade6316 doing this makes the blaster more versatile, you can run shorter barrels and run in lower fps ( hvz ) and also run it high fps due to the larger plunger tube that is not in the seagull . Having done this mod myself it’s not only more aesthetically pleasing but also makes it a blaster that can do it all and do it all with ease!

@@atomichandgrenade6316 I can understand why you would be hesitant. But this does not reduce the shell rigidity at all. And like kerncounty said… it makes the blaster far more versatile. I take this thing into tournaments and tune it to upwards of 300fps to as low as 120fps. All because I can now put shorter barrels in it. This mod works.

@@3SonsRC different tools for different tasks imo. I like the sawed off harrier most. It’s the most versatile. And has the highest potential. I like the seagull out of the box best I like the OG unicorn best for hvz

@@fakebloodfakeblood I was getting 150fps in the de tuned game here at joes. But since then I de tuned it even more to about 125fps for Ragnaroktober fest

It’s funny that I sold my first Harrier because it looked a little funny after having it a while . On top of adding versatility to the blaster it looks way better cut down . My new Harrier will hopefully be here next week . Thanks again for the cool video . I already watched it twice 😂.

When's that Seagull Mod video coming?? I think I'm going seagull and nodding it up as opposed to getting the more expensive Harrier I'd have extra cash for mods with the seagull, but would like to see if the seagull can get to 280-310 with a reasonable prime 🤔?🤔 I know 250 for the Seagull is not too hard as Bradley Phillips showed, but curious if it can go higher?? But yeah I guess I don't NEED 310ish but would be nice 🤣😂

I still need to make a few more mods to the shell before I release that video. But I will say this: the seagull does not do well above 250fps. It’s the whole reason I built the “Rier” I couldn’t even get a seagull up to 275 reliably let alone 300 on standard darts Meanwhile the harrier will do 320

With this mod do you Use the longer barrel that comes with the harrier or the shorter one? If the longer one then the total length is still the same just lighter?? Of course still leaner stock and elimination of the knuckle duster

I might make a video to further explain it. But basically I don’t use the longer one OR the shorter barrel . I use both. When I need higher FPS I use a longer barrel. When I need lower FPS I use a shorter barrel. Having the option to use the shorter barrel is something that I couldn’t have done without this mod. It makes the blaster more versatile. One blaster that can go all the way down to 130fps HVZ all the way up to 300 FPS, in just a couple minutes. On top of that , when I am using the longer barrel…. Even though the overall length of the blaster is the the same as it would have been, if I hadn’t cut off the front part, the barrel is much skinnier than the blaster would have been which means it’s harder for people to hit just the barrel sticking out as opposed for people trying to hit the blaster shroud sticking out.

Had to Teflon taoe the o rings fur a proper seak and lube the barrel she's smooth now😎 will probably eventually do this mod but honestly I never compete... I just play with My son

What were the things you did to take it to 320 fps? Like the spring and the barrel? And also how did you thread your barrel?

@@Kannolias I’ll probably upload some shorts to answer these questions but the TLDR is 160x300mm harrier spring. Sabre metal plunger rod and catch. And 45cm of .495 ID barrel from Spitfire designs on Etsy (and then I took that barrel to a local machine shop to be threaded.) if there is enough interest I may release pre threaded ones for purchase.

@@oopsInc777 no, I used only the existing ones. So now there is only 3 total. But it’s plenty sturdy. I’ve fired approximately 2-3,000 shots since then and it’s holding up well. No issues with sturdiness
