3 years ago , I suffered from depression and self harm. I was sinning everyday without caring. But then , God came to me. It was hard...the transition between the ancient me and the new me was difficult. But eventually I made it. I’m still struggling in some areas but I rely on God 100%. I love Him so so much. I keep thinking I've found my favorite Hillsong masterpiece, and then I find another. What a beautiful, anointed, spirit filled song worshiping our God. It brings me into His presence, I can't stop listening and singing. You Hillsong Worship and United members truly worship God more than you perform. It is evident in every song, every time. Also, seeing the people worshiping God in these videos is both beautiful and inspiring. I have truly been brought closer to God listening to your music and watching your videos the last few months. I used to play this song every now and then while enjoying the spirit uplifting voice and lyrics. I lost my beloved mother in January 2024.......this was the song I played through the entire mourning season as I sought strength from the Lord. After everything was over, I realized i cannot listen to this song again without feeling the sorrowful emotion of my mom's departure. It sends me right back to the moment.

I can empathize somewhat I gave up on "organized religion" after going to this exact church. I was an addict. A walking contradiction. After a much needed intervention and seeking help I found the Fathers heart. A God that created everything but still lives in me, that's a trip I can live forever. Behold I have a friend, a spirit breathing holy fire within. Hillsong never gave up on me and neither did my home church in Texas. I don't know you but I love you.
