Man I have a Dwarfcraft Devices Necromancer and it's just massive. Used it for a track and it just nails that busted speaker, ripped sound. It's a keeper

Greetings! My favorites are definitely FZ-2 style pedals (Especially Hierro Effects, the one that Monolord uses), and I can never underappreciate a good Muff :)

@@Godmesser That's awesome man! The FZ-2 is such a classic sound. Have you ever played any Hierro Effects?

@@BeholdenToTheRiff Yeah, I have the Phatoum Fuzz, Heretic Fuzz, BEAD Fuzz and some other stuff from him. Phatoum and BEAD are like THE pedals for me in terms of Hierro Effects. I'm a bit unlucky with Heretic, it's very versatile (maybe too much for me), I have an old version with a lot of knobs = a lot of ways to screw up :)

This pedal is immense. Sounds like a distortion pushed just to that sweet as it breaks into fuzz but still getting clarity on chords and ring out notes. Great pedal, awesome riff to demo with, Pickups go so well with it (and the shirt - thanks man👊🏻)

Love it. Sorry for an off topic question, but after watching your channel I'm thinking of learning bass. I already play guitar and just starting electric after only ever playing acoustic. I can't find any good advice on what to look for in a bass for stoner and doom. I get the idea it doesn't matter as much as picking a guitar (like the right kind of pickups etc). Is that true?

Great question Jasmine! Some things I would keep in mind when looking for a doom/stoner bass are playability and getting the bass set up for lower tuning (ie, C-Standard) and thicker strings. Just like guitar, pickups and everything bass gear related is more personal preference than anything - my preference being passive pickups. I would definitely get a bass practice amp ( something like this one amzn.to/3fAt9O2) and you are good to go!
