¿And the sustain? I don't appreciate the difference between the clean sound and the sustain in on. From what I hear it only works as a compressor. I'm looking for a pedal to prolong the notes and from what I see this one doesn't work for me.

same here. There's a pedal by Digitech called Freq-out that will work.

It's all in how you set the controls, this pedal works great, sounds like maybe your looking for reverb/delay and or chorus? But you can definitely get great sustain with this pedal.

Yes, I think the Electro Harmonix Freeze might be the way to go for those long sustained notes. That will be my next pedal I buy.

Try the Compressor /Limiter CL9, set the sustain at 3-4pm, and the attack at 12 noon, the level between 12-1pm and you should hear how the Sustain lingers for a long time? keep the vibrato going, and so will the note even longer if using humbkrs
