This is a very useful little mixer. I have to say for me the main new feature choices for live would be: 1. Phase reversal switches, particularly on channels 1-4, for feedback reduction. Allows far greater headroom without having to use EQ you don't want to use. I currently use male->female XLR adaptors that swap pins 2 & 3 over. 2. Far less battery use by the app! It drains the battery of the device in use like no other similar app. The X-Air Edit app for iPad is way lighter on battery, as is Mixing Station. For an open mic night we need a power bank to hand even for a reasonably recent iPhone/iPad.

the real killer feature you can still add would be the option to split the stereo channels in 4 individual mono channels, this way it would be a game changer!!

The Flow 8 is a great product, it would be nice if you could include the option to tap on any parameter on the app and key in the value desired using the number/ keypad for an easier and faster way to mix.

I've been looking for an affordable multi-channel USB audio interface and this recent updates sounds like it'll do the trick. this wasn't obvious from the specs on the Beringer website.

How about bluetooth troubleshooting? I have a Z fold 4 with the latest android software and I have an iPad pro also up to date. Neither can pair the app

Erm... it has it after this update. You have to switch to it in the Setup and it doesn't save that choice in the app, but you have it none the less.

yes. you always need an amplifier for passive speakers. the outputs on the mixer do not provide enough power to drive passive speakers.

i hear from people that the 2 mic input has analog gain of 40db and 20 digital gain. Im not sure how this will impact the sound. Would it not be an issue if i pair it with BLX288/sm58? I also hear that wireless mic have pre amp and may not require much gain on mixer. Can someone confirm PLEASE!!!!!

software is cheaper: adding more (and good) hardware knobs would certainly raise the price. it's low price now _because_ these things are done digitally in the app.

Yes. Channels 1 and 2 are the only channels that provide phantom power for condenser mics, though.
