Ahhhh, memories. This was my first mixing board back in 1998. Sadly, I just had to dispose of it recently after it being destroyed by rain / moisture while in storage. A great board for the price at the time, I think a paid around $1,500 for it

7:40 church has an old 32ch analog yamaha mixer. I made them mix through the groups and then I tapped the groups and patched them into audio interface for livestream. That way I can get a slightly better mix that what is coming out of front of house speakers. Very handy. Also sends to groups in pairs (only 4) but can use the pan knob to send any given channel just to one side of the two in a group pair. It works.

Hi I'm just about to buy the 8000A. What difference it is iv no idea. But it has a huge row of led vu lights above the channels. And iv learnt more from your video then anywhere iv looked. Thank you.

1:40 I'd probably patch this thing to my computer via an audio interface so this feature would come in handy. I got a mate who has one of these. He is getting rid of it because the power supply has gone missing. I'm guessing there is no chance of finding a replacement.

Where can i get hold on a power supply for behringer mx8000. Can't find it anywhere not even the Behringer store have any or any power cable

Hi Nick, I bought my Behringer Eurodesk 20 years ago but I have not had chance to use it until now, due to work and family commitments. I've been on a couple of college courses in sound engineering over the years and now I'm retired I want to start using it along with the Tascam 16 track reel to reel. Could you please advise me as I'm not sure if the power supply to the desk also drives passive speakers, or do I need to use a power amp for this purpose? I can't find anything in the operating manual on this.

In short, no. The Beringer MX 8000 does not have any sort of amplifier for speakers. Only a headphone amplifier. you'll need to either get amplified speakers, or buy an amplifier for your speakers.

Hi can you please suggest a situation were I could get the right hand side buses LED graphs working as iv bought this desk routed everything there from every channel and still no display ? The sliders appear to increase the volume already there " but not a flicker cheers

Hi, If you have routed audio to them, and hear the audio, but don't see anything on the meters, then I'm sorry to say that it sounds like the meters aren't working. I'm unaware of any fix for them. This board is so old, I'm not sure if any repair shop will even touch it. As you saw the video, the main out meters stopped working on mine. I never even looked into how to fix it. Best of luck

@@nicksanders7402 hi it may be old but mine is brand new. And not a crackel from any pot or slider. And every op amp is fully functional, over a thousand of them. Iv re-designed the power supply , with rear external fans. ( Big problem these were overheating) I made it variable speed fans on a pot on the front, very cool now. I am an electronics engineer, just dreading opening it up. It will be a small led driver. I'll let you know. Thanks

This mixer is no longer in production. But you might get lucky finding a used one. Mixer ini sudah tidak diproduksi lagi. Tapi Anda mungkin beruntung menemukan yang bekas.

Iya.sekilas mirp mixer mackie sr 32.8...yg bikin mewah adameter beatnya.di infonesia mixer seken bahrange mx8000 masih 13 juta harganya.ntah kalau di luar negri mungkin lebih murah.🤗

This console is a copy of the Mackie 24-8 buss console... it's an almost EXACT duplicate...the Mackie 24-8 buss and the Mackie 32-8 buss mixing console are both incredible mixers...

No. This mixer does not have built-in effects.

You would use the auxiliary sends to create separate mixes for each stage monitor.

Atavi Donkor , hi , you can connect with every interface.I have the same console using 3 Motu Interfaces outputs going into the B inputs of the console and from the console master output back into a stereo input of a Motu Interface and back to the DAW

What Leonardo R said is excellent. In fact, MOTU makes an interface that is pretty much made for this board. It's called the MOTU 24i/o . It has 24 TRS inputs and 24 TRS outputs. Super low latency, internal routing, and all of the converters are in the rack unit, keeping them away from noisy components. You would connect all of the "Direct Outputs" from channel 1-24 to the inputs of the 24i/o, then all of the outputs of the 24i/o to "Mix B" inputs 25-48. Once you have the board and interface hooked up correctly, all you need to do is configure the routing in your DAW and use the Mix B button to flip the channel from 1 to 25(mix b) An older 24i/o can be found super cheap now if monies were an issue. @@Pyranoja hi, no noise on my setup, all works fine, I changed my behringer console with an 40 channel Soundtrack console which has dynamics incorporated like compressor, limiter etc, its from the 80s

The white cable coming out of the power supply is connected to a power outlet. It is how the unit receives electricity.
