Did get mine in the afternoon today. Playing along with it the whole evening. Great stuff. Und hab natürlich jetzt bei dir auch was gelernt... VCA ist *natürlich" der richtige Ausgang nicht phones... war schon irritiert. Muss mir unbedingt angewöhnen Bedienungsanleitungen zu lesen :D

Das mit dem VCA-Ausgang habe ich auch in einem anderen Video gesehen, das fand ich auch sehr hilfreich für mich. So gibt man unbewusst sein Wissen weiter... Ich hatte auch selbst ein paar Fragen, z. B. wie man die externe Clock einstellt. Da das Spice ja doch recht neu ist, habe ich die Antwort auch in der Bedienungsanleitung gesucht, und ich habe es tatsächlich dort bei den versteckten Funktionen gefunden. Danke für Deinen Kommentar! Very soothing sounds! The oscillators of the Spice seem to sound a bit more mellow than the other synths from Behringer in this format.

I highly recommend the tutorials for DFAM and Subharmonicon. With @Braintree56 I learned more in a few minutes than in a year of self-experimentation. You just have to look carefully, some of the controls are named differently on the EDGE (e.g. VCO1 → Oscilator1), and of course the controls are arranged differently. But if you are flexible, you can get along very well with both units.

❤‍🔥Danke dir für deinen Input. Ist der VCA Ausgang besser zum Abgreifen des Signals? Ich Finde den Übergang bei 6:50 sehr schön, da der erste VCO besser im unteren Frequenzbereich arbeitet in der Gesamtstimmung. 👌😎

Erst mal: Vielen Dank für den Kommentar. Ich kann mir schon vorstellen, dass es einen Unterschied gibt zwischen VCA und Phone-Ausgang. Da bin ich aber zu wenig Elektronik-Fachmann (vielleicht sollte ich mich ja diesbezüglich mal schlau machen :) ) Da ich aber mit dem Signal weiterarbeite (Effekte), macht für mich der VCA Ausgang mehr Sinn. Das waren auch nach dem ersten Tag erst mal erste Versuche, Musik kann man das ja noch nicht nennen. Die Subs sind richtig gut.

whenever i plug in my midi cable, it seems to not clock to my daw when i press play, my behringer edge does this however, how did you get your spice to sync through midi?

I don't synchronize the clock via the MIDI cable, but via a trigger signal from my Eurorack clock module. The MIDI cable is connected to the keyboard, here I have set a MIDI channel on the Spice, which I then select on the keyboard.

By the way: Did you try the hidden functions? There is the clock source selection. You can find it in QUICK START GUIDE on side 43.
