Earlier today I was watching a video of a song someone made that had at least a dozen tracks and layers upon layers of effects done in a computer... and it just felt overcomplicated and sterile. THIS is what I was looking for! Pure, simple, honest electronic music.

Sounding great. Love the drum programming, really spot on and your acid lines are perfect too. I love how you actually transposed the melodies and didn't just use the same one over and over.

No messing about, just straight up acid house. Love it. I wish I'd bought a 707 a few years ago when they were about £100.

Sehr cool :) Hab mir auch die gelbe Quietschekiste geholt. Steht definitiv mit meiner TB-303 auf Augenhöhe. Das hat Behringer echt geil gemacht. Die interne Distortion ist Gold wert 🙂
@funkyberlin3034 жыл бұрын
Ich finde die TB klingt smoother, aber ich mag den knarzigen und etwas klopfenden Klang der TD.
@helmutsommer43144 жыл бұрын
@funkyberlin3034 жыл бұрын

Me too, but digital. I own a Roland W-30 workstation and a Roland D-50. Got my paws on a TD-3 and a RD-8 for under 1 stack😊
@DarkFutureConsolidated4 жыл бұрын
My second TD is due today. I'll be cranky if it comes tomorrow. MS-101 next and was tempted by the new 606 clone, but holding out for the 909. Rumours are hinting the firmware issues causing syncing issues with the RD-8 has delayed the 909, but they'll sort it. Cant complain. Behringer have come at the community with a rep of cheap second rate audio equipment, claims of reissuing all the classics from expired patents of iconic vintage models, faced mockery , scepticism, and purists ready to find any tiny difference they could to not only dis prove their, but to destroy any rep they had and label them as unethical and disrespectful to the legacy all the manufactures they were ripping off. Then the model D came out. Didn't look amazing. Just a desktop MiniMoog clone. But then people heard it. And then they just kept pumping out model after model. No-one could fault anything. Even the build quality was so impressive some were being reported as sturdier than their original vintage counterparts. And in 4 short years, they have completely turned their Brand rep by making what was once thought an impossibility by the entire community. True, faithful analog replications of all the stuff most of us always dreamed of possessing, but had resigned ourselves to accepting it wasn't gonna happen. And that would have been enough, but they've done it at prices I'm still finding difficult to believe. I gave up many years ago attempting to sequence proper acid patterns. Because I knew it didn't matter how faithful I got with the tone, until I had that sequencer so many people have been complaining about , and tell everyone how difficult and frustrating, Genuine acid wasn't possible. Got a monologue few years back too, and its been as close as ive gotten, and its incredible and my fav ever synth hands down. I'm mean, Rich helped design it. How could it not? But it still cant pull off true, Vibert, Ceephax, Universal Indicator, Roy etc. level afx acid approved genuine article patterns. After my TD arrived, Only three days back, an hour after unboxing, I was jamming on then best acid lines ive ever sequenced in 20+ years. Ive been using the microbrute CV with the TD filter in, and also into the monolog feeding patterns through the monologues audio in, and combined with its next level motion sequenced glory, my mind has been completely blown away with what kind of sounds are coming out of this shit. And I haven't even gotten my second one. With an MS and eventually the 909, ill finally have the Legit vic/afx acid rig ive dreamt of since 96. Kudos with big brass knobs on to Behringer for doing gods work. Thanks to themWe're all now finally certified Acid Varsity Alumni. And I'm with you my brothers. Now, im off to rave my tits off....

hey man, great video. i've got a td-3 and 707 and am thinking of getting another td3 for a lead. i have a question though, what is the need for a sync box when I just sync my current td3 to the clock of the 707 via midi?
@funkyberlin3033 жыл бұрын
Thanks man. In case you only wanna sync TD-3 to 707 you don't need a sync box.

Actually what you see is what you hear. The clip shows the live recording of the track, the only thing involved you can't see is the FX unit for the delay.

Can you share more about your signal path? What’s the sync box doing in this setup? Wouldn’t midi cut it?

Both TD-3s and the TR-707 are synced via MIDI clock from Roland SBX-1. Master clock by Ableton Live sending MIDI clock to the sync box.
