I need to second this request for tutorial. It seems you sequence outside of the TD-3, but still use at least accents, if not slides. How that was done? Which reverb you used? Was the delay effect at beginning just ghost notes or a real delay? Was there FX automation? So many unanswered questions! 😅

In one of his shorts, laweffect commented that he had the TD-3 hooked up to Ableton and used the default delay plugin of the DAW. The short was called something among the lines of acid something.

@@spintonik MIDI velocity-value over 96 gives accents. Slides are achieved by "tie" or note/trig-length over 1.00 step, just like in a D.A.W. where you overlap the leading note past the beginning of the next to get ties/slides and doesn't retrigger the envelope in legato-modes like these. :) Just keep in mind that the envelope only has decay and no sustain, so it is always going to close. No drones or swells/soft attack unless you get the devilfish-version.

I am The Prodigy fan and this is what Liam uses but a different brand of music synthesizer Roland TB-606 or 303.
@JesusGreenBL3 жыл бұрын
Yes for full clarification for anyone here who doesn't already know, Liam used a Roland TB-303 (The TR-606 is a drum machine). Though on the most recent album he used a Roland TB-03, a digital recreation of the TB-303. The TD-3 is Behringer's fully analog recreation of the same original TB-303 since they're no longer in production. There are heaps of clones, the digital recreations like the TB-3 and TB-03 by Roland themselves, the TT-303, the x0xb0x, MAM MB33 etc, but at least in my humble opinion this is the best sounding clone other than the RE-303, which can hardly be considered a clone since it's a part for part complete replica and requires you to build it (or costs quite a bit more if you buy one already made). Great jam, and great little box, I have this same yellow version.

so i've had GAS lately and been looking into getting a few 'pocket' synths. The TD-3 inevitably came up in this search with it's size and price. Virtually all of the demo's and tutorials of the TD-3 made me think that I absolutely do not want one and don't really enjoy the acid sound that much. Anyways.. I've been checking out 'jams' of devices I am interested in and I've been pretty damn impressed with what some people can do with some of the new 'cheap' gear available now. So I thought to myself... maybe I should look up a TD-3 jam just to see if someone is using it differently than just acid house. This was the video i decided to click on and it absolutely blew me away. That thing sounds absolutely amazing in this and I'll probably pick one of these up eventually when I find one secondhand and cheap.
