Nice work! I run sound during the worship service at a Church in VA. I am using an Allen and Heath analog mixer with QSC subs and Makie tops and Behringer powered monitors. I manage RVA Live Sound and PA Rental and we are in the research phase of selecting a new PA: A digital mixer with CAT5 or wireless for the snake and a set of powered speakers. We currently use an analog system with passive speakers and racks of DSP, laptop etc and are looking to upgrade/simplify. Thanks for the great vids!

Thanks man! This week we are installing it and revamping our sound booth. Last night we eq'd the vocalist and instruments separately and tonight we will run rehearsal and mix down all the head monitors and house. I'll probably post up something about how its running live soon. God Bless!

They are pretty equal when it comes to features...my soundman for my traveling band has a presonus 16chan and the sound is great. The behringer has the motorized faders which is really nice as well as the direct two track recording. I would say the presonus may be geared more towards the recording musicians and the behringer for a stationary live situation. Both being on the lower end to the $ scale I don't know how road worthy it may be. we love our x32 though. no issues

Good ear :) I found two..one in Raliegh and Memphis. The word is all the brick and mortar Guitar Centers got the first container. The online retailers get the next one. It was a challenge to find.

Is it ok to turn the power off using a power strip with the X32 leaving the power switch always on the board

Scott Stewart I run my through a battery backup which has a voltage regulator and surge in it all connected to a power distribution which sequencely shuts our sound down in our church. Yes but recommend a furhman power conditioner.

Rob Rockin thank you. We are having issues with the board losing it’s setting from week to week,just trying to figure out what is going on. One Sunday 1-8 mix was just gone, nothing working.

NOOO!! Absolutely not! Digital equipment has software that it runs. This board runs intensive software. It is a computer. It needs to be powered down properly unless you want to kill the thing. Would you just yank the plug out of your computer if you were done using it? That would be foolish. The dude that says it is ok is wrong.

You should go into edit in the video manager on youtube and it probably is warning you about the video being "shaky" and it will autofix that by zooming in enough that it can shift the screen to look like a stable camera shot. It's too shaky to focus on the video

If you have a sound guy that need to know how to run the board. I have a sound guy that doesn't know how to run the board. I want to learn from the moment you take the x32 out of the box to the final product. How to setup the mains. How to program your mic into the system. How set up the monitor to make sure the work correctly. Don't show me how to send on faders and all the technical talk. I just want him to learn how to make those monitors work. Later we can learn the send on fader stuff. He know nothing about the board but wants to dedicated himself to learning it as his missionary. Is that possible A. I took it out of the box. B. I plugged it in and it lite up. C. How I set up the mains. D. Step by step. Until well here is your final sound coming out of the speaker and monitors produced with the Behringer x32.
