Hi Ethan love this series, when you’re on the ground with a fighter if you hold R2 (the defend button) whilst they’re completing a transaction you can move the analogue stick in the direction it tells you to so u can block it. Hope this helps love the series big lad ❤️

Great vid but remember that when you’ve got him down and start knocking at his head, keep punching on the head with hooks and straight forward strikes to knock him out faster, don’t do them bodyshots when you have him there. It’ll be harder to knock him out👍🏻

Btw Tip: Hold the controller like when you hold it for tekken and hold it normally keep switching so when striking hold the controller like when playing tekken and when grappling hold the controller normally Tip: Use the jab to keep distance between u and ur opponent Tip: If the opponent throws a roundhouse kick and misses throw multiple strikes after it maybe a roundhouse kick from you or maybe multiple hooks or a few straights for example at 30:16 you knocked the guy down because he couldn’t but his guard up Tip: When using a heavy character refrain from using kicks to the head or roundhouse kick because it is too slow and takes bit too much of stamina Tip:When knocking somebody down and u go down onto him don’t punch the body just throw hooks and straights then it will finish him off Tip: When using a boxer refrain from using takedowns because when on the ground the lose A LOT of stamina and wrestling isn’t their strong point Tip: Use legacy grappling because it shows what exactly what you are going to do Tip: If you have your opponent against the cage in a clinch if you want to take him down press R1 and X at the same time then you will throw him onto the ground Tip: press down the right analog stick to switch stances from orthodox and southpaw
