I must say, I've watched countless hours of Beijing walking, and it's the first video that makes me feel a sense of beauty and charm about this city. There is still overall a sense of "too much control", lack of vegetation, complete absence of bar-terraces to chill outside under the trees, but somehow it's a huge step forward in terms of urban policy.

I have never seen Hutongs like this in China. Beijing is changing so fast for the better. Not only is China getting rich but it is getting more beautiful all the time. I love all these ancient commercial streets popping up all over the country. They really showcase the cultural brilliance of the country.
