The first time I saw you as Fatima I saw your energy, and it was a beautiful glow. I am 59 yrs old and still navigating through my purpose thank God. I have a lot of struggles I don't see myself where I am, but I see myself pushing through my struggles. This was so satisfying to watch a Boss Queen speak on what she calls humble beginnings of a mom, a boss mom educator turn SUPERENTENDANT shinning her light giving love and space for children who just need to feel protected and validated. As an educator of 28 years and a mom of one beautiful young lady, I was just held captive by how she spoke of her parents, her home as a child and education that rooted her footsteps and planted a seed that grew into phenomenal business woman that she is today. I needed to hear that because too many of us Brown girls did not get the nurturing positive push in our beginning stage of our lives and we tend to enter space where people see us as rough with a hard exterior not quite inviting and do not respect how hard we work or what we had to overcome to get to the higher places. The big take away for me was when Kimberly spoke about how many rooms we enter where people that look like us was our biggest adversaries and the one who society deemed as our suppressors were our biggest supporters. I was screaming yes nothing but facts and I love when my people speak the truth about a lot of things that we are gate keepers of when we be the problem some of the times. I appreciated this episode so much and I am loving Crystal Renee more and more everyday.

This was so inspiring. I needed this. Jesus, hear my prayers these past three years have been difficult on me I am weak. Give me guidance. Please come back soon I don’t know how much longer I can hold on. As a single parent things are hard on me both of my sons are autistic and my hours to work are limited because I’m now homeschooling them. I’m constantly struggling to provide the basic necessities for them I’m so ashamed. I suffered an heart attack and I’m battling lupus I’m overwhelmed. Lord heal me. Father God hear my prayers. I constantly struggle to pay my bills and struggle to provide groceries. BUT I KEEP FAITH. Even though I want to give up. Jesus please take the fear from my heart. Father God it is you that gives me the strength to keep going. I praise you Father even as I fear homelessness please continue to give me strength.
