Im a mobile lash tech and i have had 2 retention issues in a year. i have a policy that says if the lashes come out within the first 2 days i can fix them... however, in both cases it was rainy outside and i offered to come back and redo them. no problems as long as the communication is always open and everything is explained. but yes 365 days in a year and only had the issue twice.

How about working out of a van and being really mobile having the customer come inside your custom mobile van? That might be a pretty cool way and maybe still cheaper than most leases and rents in the long term. Setup shop any place.

i live in Alberta and the humidity isn’t the best especially in the winter so i always take a portable humidifier but i also lash at home so it’s the best of both worlds! also about the audio i didn’t have a problem with it ❤️

I e been inquired to do mobile lashing, but idk how I feel. Lol. I also don’t have a car of my own right now so I’m able to just say that. I live in LA and I honestly do not want to deal with the traffic. About the audio. I personally did not think it was better. Had a bit of like an echo. Didn’t stop me from watching tho. You’ll figure it out don’t worry.

Do you think it’s a good idea for someone to become a travel lash tech if they they will have to catch Lyft ?

Yea, Sure! I don't see why not. Just make sure you 1.) have your bookings spaced out to give yourself enough time to get to and from. 2.) Book your lyft/uber As soon as your done packing up your work stationary (that way you don't have to linger around your customers Domain). 3.) Charge Traveling Fees (Make the customer pay for your ride to and from (Emphases on TO AND FROM). EXAMPLE: Client A Traveling Fees Are from your house and to your next appointment (Client B). Client B Traveling Fees Are From {CLIENT A's House} and to your next appointment (Client C). Client C Traveling Fees Are From {Client B's House} and back to YOUR HOUSE. With that being said SET YOUR TRAVELING FEES AS A SEPERATE PAYMENT THAT YOU TAKE UPFRONT .......OR...... (USE THE EXAMPLE BELOW) EXAMPLE: Client A Traveling Fees Are from (YOUR HOUSE) and (BACK TO YOUR HOUSE). Client B Traveling Fees Are from (YOUR HOUSE) and (BACK TO YOUR HOUSE). Client C Traveling Fees Are from (YOUR HOUSE) and (BACK TO YOUR HOUSE). With this 2nd example being said Keep in mind that your not going to always Leave Client A's house to go to Client B's house... Sometimes u may get Client C first and then Client B and then you may go home then to Client A. It just depends on how you're booked. Example 2 will also allow u to make a SET Travel Fee so that way your customers pay you the same amount every appointment.

I have friends who want me to go to their house to lash them but what should I do? The only reason I don’t wanna go to their house is because of the temperature and humidity of the house which can affect the retention which will then make my work look bad. I’m just starting so I don’t have money to buy all those things... help

I have 3 questions? Do you disinfect in between clients with cavacide or barbecide when mobile since you don’t know the set up ? Do you recommend only taking cash for remaining balance? Is it illegal according to state board to be mobile ?

I do both! If you share a space with other artists or a permanent makeup artist you can share rent for a space!
