Yeah I think a huge chunk of the video game industry has become a major money laundering scheme. This game just has a few cosmetic skin updates, a slightly new story mode, but its the same base game just tweaked slightly every year. Looks the exact same as last year. Def laundering going on in the games industry.

I don't know much about this version of wrestling (I did graduate from high school where Kurt Angle did in the same same year if that means anything), but I can imagine this brutal commentary on WWE 2K23 didn't quite get the "This video sponsored by Visual Concepts and 2K Sports" seal of approval. What I do know is that I enjoyed it and it made me laugh so much I was struggling to catch breath. Then again, I'm Kurt Angle's age, so maybe that's the problem? :)

I mean, female wrestlers still have names like "Justine" nowadays. Asuka, Bayley, Charlotte, Emma, Naomi (though she might actually be out), Natalya, Shotzi, Tamina etc. Molly Holly during her championship reign was actually a heel, since she didn't like women degrading themselves (that's what WWF thought about women in 2002 smh).

It would be awesome if you guys took a look at more wrestling game story modes. There are some bonkers ones out there - Rumble Roses takes the cake _for me,_ but I'm sure there's some crazy stuff in the ol' Fire Pro games (I know of one infamous example in an entry Suda 51 wrote for) and Galactic Wrestling/Ultimate MUSCLE is sure to be wacky... even some WWE games (WWF Wrestlemania XIX on the Gamecube has the insane 'Revenge' Mode where you just go to public places and go on a rampage in the name of the McMahons, lol) can go nutso. I could watch you guys experience them ALL in some quest to find a good career mode. 😄
