ADHGuy…if you’d just put the name of area you store each item (at listing) in the eBay listing SKU field…you’d never have this problem of “where’s that item?” I know you hate me, LOL…but this is great advice!

Hi Dave! Love your show. I never comment but please don't feel bad about Ebay shafting you on that FB. I have been buying and selling on ebay Member since: Dec 12, 2000. And never had a neg fb until this month! If I deserved ti I would be PO'd at myself for missing something wrong but in both instances neither were deserved. On was because the item didn't fit even though size was specifically listed. The 2nd one was because a zero bidder snipped and paid. I have in my TOS very clearly in all caps no zero bidders. I rejected the order they were refunded instantly and I got a neg! Ebay refuses to even follow their own policies that negs will be removed for "won't fit" and refunded listing. I fought tooth and nail to get them removed REJECTED! I will be using other options to sell from now on. Working on closing out all my listing now and moving away. 24 yrs and to get treated like this is crap!

EBAY is all about and for the BUYER !! THEY COULD CARE LESS ABOUT SELLERS !! I have been on Ebay since 1999 and NOTHING HAS CHANGED AND NEVER WILL !!!!

It has changed a lot. Back in the early days you could neg buyers, no refunds if you have it in your TOS. Now we can only give pos or no FB. If we refuse to give refunds we can get dumped off of ebay.

@@linr7342 It all changed when credit cards were added as a form of payment. When a buyer pays with a credit card, eBay does not have the final word. Buyers can file a chargeback with their credit card company. Credit card companies do not care about a seller's feedback rating. They're going to review the transaction on its merits.

Lottery tickets: If they were giving them away, you could just take them, look them up at home and then if you won big you don’t have to share! But by looking them up there, yes you would have to tell.

Dave to get Lee cancellations, get your Irene packed ip faster. Once the label has been printed buyers are less likely to cancel.

Respond to the negative feedback so buyers can at least read your side of it and go give the buyers negative feedback too. That’s my way of handling it.

Ebay does not allow neutral or negs now for buyers. It is clearly biased to buyers now.

I also have had no sales on Mercari. I think Mercari buyers have figured out that they are being charged more fees and don’t like it. I am selling more on Etsy.

of being on ebay for over 6 years now it wasn't until about this year that ive started to notice others and myself have been receiving uncalled for negative feedback and ebay refuses to step in to help us. I literally sold a laptop where I stated the Disc drive didn't function. sold it for 60% off ebay sold comps...yet the buyer literally gets it and complains the disc drive doesnt work LMAO opens a return...closes return..leaves negative feedback 😂😂😂

Leave a comment on the feedback saying they got a full refund. Gives potential buyers more information on what happened.

Hi .Dave I sell on Mercari and follow your store . I notice all your shipping is very high . This is just a suggestion bc I would never tell anyone how to run their business . But I’d you use UPS or FedEx shipping is way cheaper 3 to 4.15oz is 7.99 5 to 5.15 oz is 8.99 .

Hey Dave, question. Does Vendoo have a catalog system of all your items? Say for example, eBay loses half our listings again, could I go into vendoo and get them back and cross post them all again? Dave, are you beginning to feel that you know the approx.value of most items now ? You seem to have learned alot for sure. Some items will always have a subjective value though. By that I mean demand might be low for it, but the few people that want it might pay a lot for it. And some items don't have a set value. Especially unusual items. All it takes is two bidders who want it to bring the price way up on something.
