I’m listening to this message again. I’ve suffered from self consciousness since I was a young child, it’s not nice. Is that the ego? I have a strong awareness of it so I’m not sure if it’s my divine self that is watching it or is it just my ego full stop? I’d love to be less self conscious!

Your ego is judging your ego/false self. This is a split-off part of the ego that judges and evaluates how you are behaving. The way you know it is the ego is that it keeps you in a state of tension, while relaxation is a sign of the divine self, which doesn't evaluate or judge but is just aware and in acceptance of everything that is coming and going. When you are in touch with your divine self, you feel content, relaxed, at peace, like "all is well." From that place, we are able to respond wisely and easefully to whatever is going on.
