He never talked about Africa's real history Before the European colonialism which destroyed African civilisation. African empires and kingdoms were centres of learning, culture and it was very wealthy.

Ahmed.a_94 Yeah but they were also mostly Muslim ones, like Timbuktu and before them the Moors, who were also Muslims. The only non Muslim flourishing centres of Learning were the Ancient Egyptians and they weren't Arabs and weren't really Africans. Ethiopia would be another.

HolloVVpoint You say they were mostly Muslim kingdoms and only bring up Timbuktu..Africa thrived before Islam from the Gold Coast to the Zulu Empire. If anything Islam needs to leave Africa.

John Doe yes right on the ball. Africa no need white man or brown man religion. Both keep blackman down and enslaved its in their religious nature as if allah and Jesus told them they were the ones who should go forth. I say dont join their bulshit struggle with eachother. Look the other way and walk your own path.

The problem here is psychological. Muslims of African descent have a NEED to be validated and accepted by Arab and Asian Muslims (which is preposterous!). We need and want to be accepted by Allah (SWT). The racism of non-African Muslims is THEIR issue and their disease as clearly defined in the Quran when Iblis challenged Allah's command to bow to Adam. His response to the command? I am better than him. You made me of fire, and you made him from clay. Even the language of being a "revert" I am opposed to. Why? Because Allah says that the FITR (nature) of the human being is Islam (peace). The label "revert" creates a social CAST SYSTEM within the Ummah. It implies that those who were born into Islamic families are in some ridiculous way, MORE Muslim than those who reclaim their human, Islamic heritage. It insinuates that those who are native speakers of Arabic are more intelligent or more authentically Muslim when our Nabi (SAWS) and all of the other Prophets and Messengers were, in fact, illiterate. So, Arabic can obviously be learned, but belief and faith, and conviction is a gift that none of us can brag about. These false constructs are analogous to White Christians or White Catholics actually BELIEVING that they are more authentically Christian or Catholic when most Christians are not white, and the majority of Catholics are of Latin or Hispanic descent. It's a caste system based on ethnicity and race and I find it to be ironic within the framework of religion. Race, ethnicity, skin color, language, and cultural heritage offer no guarantee of salvation, forgiveness, or the reward of Paradise. It is all based on deeds, the depth of one's beliefs, and the mercy and grace of Allah (SWT). White people (in general) even go so far as to reject the name and word "Allah" because it isn't Angelcized. When, in fact, the word "Allah" only means "God" in Arabic. Foolish people! So, in order to be "legitimate", I have to use the language of those who weaponized religion in the first place. This is complete madness. The former slave masters and their descendants have a god complex and think far too highly of themselves and not enough of Allah, The Most High.

If you genuinely want to know the answer to this question, you wouldn’t be on KZbin asking. You’d thoroughly research the right sources and educate yourself. However, I don’t think you want to broaden your mind, hence the caps indicating your anger.

Islam came to West Africa through trade and has been in West Africa for 1100 years. The East African slave trade had little to do with the history of African Americans, Caribbeans etc. The EA slave trade was mostly perpetrated by Yemeni and Omani sultans and was definitely not religiously sanctioned.

@@bez1196 basically they were swindled and manipulated to throw away their own ancient customs and traditions to adopt this foriegn philosophy. And when studying history we all know that was one of the core reason why they committed jahad on Africans, because they were still continue to practice their ancient Traditions alongside with their new Islamic faith, the powers to be at that time wasn't going to accept that

@@RH33084 lol no they weren't "swindled", why do you automatically cast black Africans as gullible, weak and subservient? Do you realize that this is a remnant of slavery and colonialism? Were Persians, Chinese, Malaysians etc "swindled" into Islam as well? It's funny that nobody ever makes this claim about other civilizations that adopted Islam. West Africans had great civilization after Islam as well and built world renowned institutions and centers of knowledge including some of the world's earliest universities. They were not as docile and submissive as you are making them out to be. You're clearly allowing your anti-Islam bias to cloud your judgement.
