Bobby couldn’t have summed it up better than when he said - he got into the business for people, Whitney got into the business to sing. Utmost respect for Whitney. She truly was one and only, and an artist in the purest form - not for people, not for fame, not for money, but for art itself. What a woman, what an exceptional human being 😢

Whitney and Bobby were a normal couple like everyone else. They loved each other, they fought, argued, had moments where they didn't like each other, they had so much in common, and enjoyed each others company. The media made it look worse than it was. Their drug addiction and fame aside, they were no different than 99.9% of other couples.

She said to Oprah she did it to please Bobby. "I did it for him. I did it with him. I mean, how could you have a reality show and I'm your wife and im not in it". That's why the show didn't approve for a 2nd season- because Whitney didn't want to be in another season. The show is the primary proof of both Bobby's real attraction to his wife and also his inevitable yearn for attention, the latter being what Whitney did not like and what ultimately caused her need to escape her famed reality.

I think Whit thought that because she and Bobby were both from the projects, both successful singers, both substance abusers and both had siblings that were substance abusers, they had a a lot in common and made a good couple. If I were a friend to them, I would have said, don t get married.

My dad was very close to the Collins/Houston family and knew some Drinkards and lemme tell ya Whitney ain't from no projects, she grew up near there but she wasn't there, she lived in a middle class neighbourhood on Wainwright Street, Central Ward was just one block away, now that was the ghetto, not Wainwright, Whitney was born in the Hood but she ain't hood, Bobby was hood, infact dat nigga from the Jungle man, he is from THE projects not Nippy.

@@Thegazelle1000 Nahhh dat wasn't in the book, I knew her since before she was in the womb, trust me, she was not born in the projects, Aunt Bae lived in the projects so whenever Aunt Emily and Uncle Jonjo went for their business trips, Nip, Spikey and Gary would stay in the projects where Aunt Bae lived, that's why she said she wanted to say she from the projects because alot of the kids growing up on the block would call her names and bully her just because she had a middle class upbringing and had nicer clothes than the children in the block, trust me, Nippy was not born in the projects, she did go there only when she was being babysitted or when we used to play outside but she ain't no Project/Hood girl, in the book, it even says Cissy was upset when she heard Nippy say she from the Bricks cuz she wasn't, Spikey and Gary would often hang out with the hood niggas in the block and would sneak out to the projects and do whatever and Nippy was a tomboy at times so she would want to go so trust me, she ain't from the Projects.

Bobby Christina went from having a loving, two parent household.... to being in the middle of a confusing divorce, split between parents.... to suddenly losing her best friend/mother- unexpectedly. I could not FATHOM. She went through a lot in her young life. Not one second of normalcy, she had. I know she's at peace now. What a sad, sad story

think about it, Whitney had 7 years left of her live, the clock was ticking, she needed out of this toxic marrige because it was clearly taking a deep strain on her physically and mentally and emotionally. SO MUCH happened to her after this 2006-split from bobby, 2007- official divorce, 2008-cleaning sobriety cleaning/gearing up for album release, 2009-nothing but love album, 2010- tour, 2011-sparkle movie. 2012- she passed but Simon Cowell expected to meet with her the following day to be a judge on X-Factor, waiting to exhale was to start filming summer of 2012, she was expected to be very busy in the coming years, im Sure the pressure was on her.

I don't blame Whitney. She's trying to eat her food with her family and these people are standing around watching her eat, begging for a picture. I wish I would beg somebody for a picture, especially after she's already said No and is clearly agitated by my presence. Some people are so rude that you have to be nasty to them for your own peace of mind. Can you imagine living like that? You can't even enjoy a day out with your family without people standing around pestering you for a picture.

Ugh. Yes. When I see celebs I go out of my way to give them space. I remember being at dinner with one and a man sent his four year old DAUGHTER over talking about you are her favorite. Child had no idea who this man was. In the middle of a person eating. I mean. Just bad home training obviously. These ppl are loved for being amazing entertainers, but that doesn’t mean you get to stalk them. Df?
