It's true. We have a 22 year old the twin 10 year olds and an 11 year old. My oldest was not homeschooled. It's night & day being home with my younger three. It is a blessing to my entire household and a gift to be available & present for my hubby & children this time around. And I believe this is truly Heaven touching earth now because we are living God's perfect order, even though we, ourselves, are not perfect. ❤

Such a good message, Jamie. You know my daughter has a friend who’s Mom has a rule that if her bedroom door is closed, she is not allowed to even knock on the door. If she does, she’ll be grounded. I find that so sad. I would never want my kids to feel like they’ll get in trouble for “bothering” me! I totally get needing alone time. I’m a single mother with no help, i work as a nurse & I homeschool, lol, so everywhere I am, I’m needed. Is it overwhelming & annoying sometimes? Uh...yeah, but guess what? My kids tell me everything....and I mean everything 😳. They’re 13 & almost 16, so some things are a little shocking, but we are so close & I couldn’t be happier that I get to have this time with them. Tfs!

Kelly! Somehow I missed this comment! Wow... That is so sad and so shocking to me. 🙁 We all need time to breathe... I get that. But they are only little for a while and time is so precious. I need reminders daily! I struggle too... But I try to be intentional with my time the best I can. We can't get these years back! Mama, that is my prayer! That my relationship with my boys as they age will only get stronger! I love that you are so open and available for your kids! And it shows, obviously! 💜💜💜 I love your heart! There are so many areas that you, too, are encouraging me! 💜💕💜

THANK YOU! I have just discovered you.... I have to say I feel you are genuine (real) !!! I have watched many of your videos in last few days and they have been helpful. Most of all you have made me realize I need to just do what feels right for my family.... That just because it works for someone else doesn't mean it's right for us. Because of this O have been clearing out the homeschool clutter so we can focus with just the things that are working for us. Kimberly! 🤗💓🤗 You are right on track mama! It took me so many years to wake up and see that there is no "right or wrong" when it come to homeschooling! You are doing a great job, mama! You keep up with cleaning out the clutter and the unnecessary things and you will feel so refreshed! You focus on what works for your kiddos and for you! This is for you! For them! Not for everyone else! 🤗 It was so hard for me to get that. I was trying to do everything to prove to everyone else that, "oh ya, we got this homeschooling thing down!" WHY?! Why did I waste all those years?! Their opinion of us and our decision to homeschool means nothing! You keep doing what you're doing mama. You're doing great! I am so happy to have you here along on this journey and I hope and pray that you feel encouraged & inspired to grow in so many ways. That you are comfortable making your homeschooling days your own!
