I had 3 sisters and a brother. My brother was the only one who ever cared about me. He passed away in 2015, while I was being excommunicated from the family. I was not told about his passing for a year and the sister who told me took great delight in stating it as if I knew, knowing that I didn't. I don't know why they ignore me. They won't tell me. They just act as if I don't exist. I've been through 3 hurricanes this year and not one of them has tried to contact me so they don't really know if I'm dead or alive. But you do have the power to heal yourself. It's there. Inside you. Make a list everyday of things you can do for yourself that makes you happy. When you wake up, look at your list and say "Today I am going to take a walk, I'm going to clean the junk drawer, I will not allow bad memories to ruin today. etc. For me because it will make no one else happy. It will just make ME happy! You can only take one step at a time. But slow and steady you will then take 2 steps, then 3. You can do it. I am doing it. Some days I can't. But, I am also learning 1 step at a time. If I can do it. You can! We can do it together. Good luck and always know, you are not alone.
