Very beautifully captured. I belong from Assam yet have never been to Majuli. It's a shame actually. All we (people & government) do is crib about how Majuli is going to die soon. But it's people like you who are genuinely doing something and bringing awareness as much as possible. I personally am truly thankful for that!

There is rarely any artist whose work isnt criticised or at times his/her perspective when is not in sync with the masses takes a toll on his work, be it KZbin comments - likes or anywhere else. But Ayush and Abhishek I have checked most of your videos and I havent found anyone not in sync with your idea of a place . Everytime I see your video I not only get transported to that place but also 'feel' that interaction you have with the people, this is very rare. I hope this journey gives your opportunity to show your work to the global audience and you get credit masters of this art form. FANTASTIC!

Superlike! I always talk about this place with my friends. Many of them don't even know about this. Thank you for showing everyone such good places. I kind of feel proud that India has the World's largest river island which is now declared a district also. And after watching this video, I have realized that Majuli is much more than that. I now feel superproud!

Change is inevitable and every change leads to a rebirth of yet more brilliant version of the earlier. Majuli island has been a much awaiting place to visit in my dreams. And hey whoever the person who is having those incredible perspectives,I just want to let him know he is different and I really admire it. If world is a canvas we are merely colors always subject to an unexpected change.....Thanks for including those thoughts of the person who is speaking throughout because I'am happy to know there are people like them is out there. He and his words makes me feel that land is yet more closer to my soul now. Thank you.

That was just an another amazing video on your channel. The next video suggested by the youtube was "forest man" which I had watched sometime back and reminds me that deforestation on this very island cannot be ignored as the reason for the serious erosion taking place on this island.

Absolutely. This region and the areas above it - the sand that gets carried down to the riverbed from upper regions, shoots up the water level.

Etheral, we've spoken before, and by this comment I want to draw ur focus to a half built hydro electric power plant at subansiri, one of the tributaries of brahmaputra. People stopped it from getting built, people, half educated decided it was bad for them, people brought the flood upon themselves.

Well done. It needs to documented. However I would like to suggest you to take an interpreter. Had the person been speaking in his own mother tongue, he would have articulated things in a better way. Therefore it's just a suggestion that let the natives narrate their stories in their own mother tongues. Or else you know how it works for majority of the people. Taking the interview in Hindi with the natives who speak an entirely different and distinct languages gives an impression that Hindi is the only language that is spoken in every nook and corner of the country. It reinforces the Hindi hegemony and domination. Most people from Hindi belt can't get beyond their myopic outlook and often fail to grasp the fact about our country's linguistic diversity. They take it for granted that Hindi is a national language and must be imposed on other people even if they speak different language. I don't mean to often anybody but yes, hindi isn't a national language and speaking hindi can never be equated with being an Indian. I can speak 5 different languages belonging to entirely three unrelated and different families of languages. Hindi is one of them. The point is, I am not anti-hindi or any sort of that. I can speak Hindi fluently but that's not because it's my language or it's spoken in my place. It's all because of the circumstances and I have no problem with that. I hope you get what I mean. Let's equally respect other Indian languages as much as we respect Hindi.
