She was like " what would u like to have sir " and I had never heard someone calling me sir before . I just was like get me anything good , and she got me a sausage and I didnt like that sausage but I still was like it is very good and had it anyway because that lady was so nice to me and I don't want to disrespect her but afterwards I understood that it is a part of their job to they are paid for it .

When I went to live in UK for few years this is how I felt when everyone was nice to me until one day when I skipped wearing makeup and put my hair up in bun😢. Then I noticed the same bus driver who greets me good morning on well-dressed days, didn't return my good morning on the day I was not groomed with make-up and blow dried hair. I was unwelcomed and denied service at a luxury saloon on the day I went to the saloon after my gym. I later realized it was bcos they assumed me poor in gym clothes without make-up. They are so good at injecting racism so subtly that we fail to notice. But since LA has huge population of artists and business fellows from multi cultural background I suppose there might not be much racial intolerance.
