Is awareness not prior to Beingness and does it not therefore also precede the I Am Not spoken of by Nisargadatta, or maybe it is the I am not. In my understanding I Am is not the end of the story, it is a doorway. Says Nisargadatta:"Hang on to the 'I am' and go beyond it, without the I am you are at peace and happy." Which would imply that I am is the beginning of turmoil😅
