Adanna, you and David hit the jackpot in finding one another. I love how your children reflect the love and warmth their parents have surrounded and instilled in them. Kian was so funny as he held Coco's leash. Coco was moving and dragging Kian forward and Kian was looking back as though he wanted to go in a different direction, but he didn't let go of that leash! It's amazing: we have witnessed OVER THE YEARS ,at least in some manner via Y/T, the courtship and wedding of Adanna and David, the arrival of their beautiful children; the career tracks of beautiful, brilliant mum Adanna and stalwart, Man-for-All-Seasons dad David; and now, soon, the arrival of their new baby. It's almost like watching Michael Apted's epic reality films, "Seven Up": The Up series of documentary films that follow the lives of fourteen British individuals since 1964! -- beginning with the subject children at seven years old. The first film was titled Seven Up!, with later films adjusting the number in the title to match the age of the subjects at the time of filming. The film project will continue to the end of the subjects' lives. Well, of course Adanna and David probably did not plan for a deep-dive, longitudinal sociology film series. But in a way, that is the gift they have given us. The "Seven Up" series explores the lives,times, and meanings of late-era Boomer-children--those (including myself) who were children in the age of the Beatles, King, Jr, John and Robert Kennedy, and a newly liberated African continent-- throughout their lives up til the present. But in a way, The Adanna & David Family" series does the same for a new generation. Adanna and David's series not only provides a living portrait of a family's rise in the early twenty-first century--WOW--but also an incredibly illuminating, living visual documentary of an emerging, entwined multicultural world, one not of high, rarefied elites intermarrying multiculturally (which they always did), but rather a family that mirrors and entire world of aspiring, striving people of seemingly different national, cultural, "racial" (an enduring constructed fiction) backgrounds who, in fact, really are the emerging majority in much of the world. So, as charming, beguiling as these vids are, they are ALSO becoming an intimate but important portrait of a world, a world civilization, coming into being.

I am 3weeks away from giving birth too.... For the reflux...surprisingly when I lie on my left I don't feel the food coming back to my throat, but the moment I turn to the right hand side.. It is another story entirely. I found this helpful if you can try it too
