Thanks for watching... I hope you found this video interesting, and a little helpful. Its a Photography video, a topic I've been wanting to put together for sometime now, but its the typical case of there always being something else that I've prioritised - As I mentioned in this video itself, I was in Cornwall back in August, and didnt think about the shots that I'd want to take, left lenses behind, and ended up needing them when it mattered most - Its one reason why (and could have been obvious from my "Whats in my Bag" video last week), but its why I tend to take most of my Gear with me, on any trip. This was also my first foray into neighbouring Surrey, and think its some of the best light that I've ever been able to enjoy. Really helped illuminate the Landscape and gave me endless possibilities, which I was all too happy to take advantage off - I wanted to talk more about Being Prepared as a Photographer, but equally wanted to keep the video length to a reasonable amount.

For me I struggle to frame up a composition doing landscapes. I feel like I get lost within all the trees etc...Colin,

Yeah I know what you mean, I'm never a huge fan of trees, as they can really make a scene "messy" - I sometimes think that I've got to the point where I take so many Images on a trip out, I'm bound to get lucky, a scatter gun type approach lol!

@@neilstevensphotography yeah I think it's one of these things that you don't know till you go out and try and come back home with 1 or 2 good ones.

Yeah agreed... I also have the scatter gun approach, because I'm there at that location, in those conditions just the once - I hate the thought of ignoring a possible image and regretting it... Better to take the risk and possibly end up with a good image, than to miss out and have no image.
