i don't know the details..My Grandfather is from Thirunelveli and he did MA in English Literature in 1913..Trichy..then choose Bombay to make his career. He said 'atmosphere was not good for us'. Sometime in the 1950s I think our tillers took over our land..maybe 60s. Not sure. Never went back to Pattamadai. My great grandfather was a school principal..and that school is still running there.
