"... delicate heat-intolerant human". That's another golden line in a whole sea of perfect lines. Dion turns into a grandmother when his human is sick... it's hilarious!

I'm just glad you're here, I love hearing what you think! (Not that I ever want you to feel obligated to comment if you're busy/just don't feel like it) The emotional rollercoaster of this one made it really fun to record, especially Dion in nurse mode lmao. And thank you, that really means a lot!

i love the world ur building so much! your writing and dialogue feel so natural it's really well done, all the characters have my heart :')) i'm really excited to find out more about whatever dion's hiding !! something little i've noticed when listening is sometimes between dialogue during moments of either silence or when the listener character is speaking there'll be a cut from the sound of the room to complete silence that can be a little distracting (i assume when you're recording u pause for those moments but in editing if they feel a little too short or ur mixing multiple takes you extend/add more gaps for the silence?). have you ever heard of room tone? it's used in film and tv sound production, basically where they'll record the "silence" of a set after the take so they can use it in post production if there are any quiet/silent spots that need filled in, like between dialogue. it means you don't have those weird little hard cuts in sound and makes the whole thing feel more real/natural!

Thank you so much! And yeah, I've been trying to work on a solution to that. That comes from when I have to cut out random sounds that occur while there's silence (usually popping joints because I'm secretly a 90 year old man lmao). I fill the cuts in with room tone, but the problem is that with my setup the room is so soundproof that my separately recorded room tones come out pretty much silent compared to when I'm recording my voice for some reason. Idk if that makes sense, but yeah, that's why I like to have a consistent source of background ambience in a lot of my videos to try to cover that up lol (nature sounds, cityscapes, random walla, etc). Thinking about it now, I could probably try copy/pasting silence from my voice recording, rather than from a separate room tone recording, and see if that sounds better Thanks for the suggestion, I really appreciate your input!
