I personally like traumatic heavy storytelling. I want my sims to feel alive and maybe work through some unhealed trauma within myself by living it through with my sims. Some people like fairytale sims, and i like morbid sims.

I’ve been subscribed to you for YEARS (I think you’re my first simmer KZbinr) and I’ve always tried to sorta replicate your story telling. I love stories too but once I hand make a sim, that’s my baby and I don’t want ANYTHING to happen to them

SAME it was her Foreman series that really made me hooked to The Sims. I started off just being a consumer of content but I eventually made my own. I try to emulate her style on my Twitter as best I can. I know it doesn't come close but I definitely love drama and realistic stories.

Girl, when you said Monica was smoking, and a CNA .. 😲 (aaand she has this habit of caring a little TOO much... ) You just hit me directly in a personal spot. 🎯 I was in that exact position in my 20's (Although, I was a single mom too..which ended up saving me from myself in so many ways) I'm so excited to see the story unfold with these sims! ❤ And thank you for always sharing your authentic self and creative flow with us. Jenn have you thought about making a patreon exclusive series where you can explore more grittier storylines? I’m not saying keep it behind a paywall but keep the videos on patreon only. My sims are usually “flawed” in some kind of way. I think it makes them more interesting. Dont get me wrong I love wholesome characters and wholesome gameplay. There is just something about a character who doesn’t have it all together that I love. I am usually rooting for them. I shared on Twitter that Kholes Life was one of the first sims series of yours that I watched and it still remains one of my favorite because the story was so interesting and messy.

I love you, and your channel, because you have an ability I wish I had. You can play with a story that has realistic elements and built “characters”, whereas I feel like I have to “follow certain rules” (likely due to my high anxiety levels). My sims have to be a certain way, can only where clothes that match, and are not very emulating of real life. I watch your videos not only because I enjoy them, but also because I wish to have even half the vision that you have…love you Jen!!! 😭❤️

I agree. Monica looks middle aged. My first guess when seeing her was early to mid forties if not older. But it's also true that she could've gotten unlucky genetically and so aged more heavily than most too lol

Love these Sims and yes sometimes you start with some thing in mind but then a character just emerges and you can't "change" them, you just have to go with it! Also my opinion but can't get it out of my head now that Monica has a child/teen that she lost custody of because of her past and that "made" her want to be better going forward.
