Hi Ana, I know it can be rough handling autism. I work with them and have a grandson with it. One thing I have learned is that they love and need routine or there can be a meltdown. My grandson walked in the house and I had things stacked in the living room from a room being painted. He knew it was different and started crying. Why I say this, do you think when you dropped him off it was at a different spot, something different than usual? Please don't take it as criticism because I think you do fantastic!
