I am a 11th grade student and I have enrolled in a JEE Main only batch and I feel like I can do better. I chose the JEE Main only batch thinking it would be more wise to prepare for Main and secure a CSE seat in a NIT as I want to be a software engineer. I thought of preparing for Advanced but I thought it was out of my reach. So I thought of focusing on only Main. But I feel I can do Advanced. Would it be good to switch to JEE Main + Advanced batch in the middle? Or should I only focus on JEE Main now that I have already joined it or should I switch to Main + Advanced? Will the transition be adaptable because I think there are certain things which are only taught in Advanced batch and I might have missed them.

You're in 11th. You have lots of time to cover advanced. Switch to a batch which is advanced + mains oriented. You have lots of time. You can cover the missed topics easily if you divide time carefully. Don't wait till your jee mains to prepare for advance. Start now.
