Ey up Stevie, great to see you back out again. The cold and windy night certainly was worth it to wake up to the views you got. It seems the issue with the cold and the batteries on the go pro is a problem. I was only watching Andy Beavers latest video yesterday and he has had the exact same problem with his. Thank you very much Dave. Ye it's very well known the cold and Go Pro batteries don't go. They brought out new batteries for the last model that are supposed to work better in cold weather but didn't make them compatible for older models. I'm still using GoPro 7 and i have 5 batteries for it

Try a tyvek bag over your sleeping bag ... v. Light. I use a sol escape bivi with a single skin tent and have never yet had a damp bag. It uprates your bag too meaning you can get away with a lighter bag . You can also get tvek bags from Ali Express.

Stevie where did you park the motor for this one? Spent ages last year trying to source the layby to park up for this one and couldn't find it, driven past it many times but canny find where it is to start the walk.

Hi , it's just right at the start of the walk from the route given on the Walkhighlands website. To be fair i also drove past it the first time then realised I'd went too far. Checked my app on the phone then turned the car back around
