Beirut is truly the Paris of the Mediterranean. The people, most notably the Assyrians/Armenians there are incredibly and naturally so beautiful!! You'll come across Greeks, Italians, Arabs, Persians, Turks, etc. The culture, food, people, ancient land of Assyrians/Phoenicians is just breathtakingly unique!

dont see why it matters christian/ muslim goverment. beirut was place number one on mediterran apart of europe in 60s and 70s.all movie and sing stars, and artists,politicians were there. it had/still has a unique feel of orient and europe merged in one, and this atmosfere chants everyone, so once in liban you always want to return to it.the special feeling of life /for life and love for life sparks in every moment of day and night. always so very alive. oooh Beirut.. with love from Serbia

@lebanonboy97 Didn't Beirut used to be know as the "Paris" or "Monte Carlo" of the Middle East up until the tragic wars of the 70's? Has it been rebuilt? The Lebanese are such a beautiful people. And isn't Lebanon the only non-Muslim country in the Middle East. By that, I mean their government is Christian?

@sarayo283 one other thing, it's probably because i am bisexual i don't have as much estrogen and i don't like jewelry and clothes. i don't wear a plastic bag though lol. i think there are so many more important things in this big world than dressing up every day. thanks

@sarayo283 ok. if that's not what u meant than ok. i was saying where i come from we appreciate natural beauty&don't have to cover it up w/makeup2feel beautiful,we appreciate what god gives us& we dont compensate by depending on clothes to take attention away form real beauty. hope u understand this.if you dress prissy b/c it's what u like,i have no problem w/ that. but if u look down on ppl who dress how they want, i have a big big problem with that. :)

@Rachulie14 жыл бұрын
@sarayo283 LOL thanks but no thanks. i like to be myself, i'm from a place where people use natural beauty and don't compensate by spending money. if you want to look any kind of way it's your choice, but over there it's not okay to be yourself because everyone tries to impress others and not stay real. i'm sure you didn't mean to be rude but don't tell someone to change, it's everyone's choice what they want to look like, it's not anyone else's place to tell someone how to live.

im arab american. love beirut but the only thing i hate is everyone always messes with me when i go over there about not being girly enough, not dressing up as much as they do (not wanting to). cuz i act american through and through (not like an asshole tho lol)
@Rachulie14 жыл бұрын
@sarayo283 ok. good i was assuming you were being rude. thought it seems you think if someone wears casual things they are "sloppy" everyone should dress as they wish and no one has the right to tell them how to dress. but that's what i hate about lebanon. it's pretty much the only thing i hate about the place. too many people look for others for approval.

First of all Israel is also occupied Palestine and it doesn't have an Arab minority, in fact they are the majority.... Second yes it is true we only share borders with Syria and Palestine but most of our neighbors are Arabs even if we don't share borders with them... Lebanon is part of the Arab league, its official language is Arabic.... Hence it is an Arab country... Some people might deny this, fine they're free to do this but they are considered everywhere Aabs.... I can't be more specific
