Yes, I recently discovered this trick last month. During the warping transition, type blackandwhite very quickly then normal. This is another way to skip the level up transition.

NORMAL's reload graphics routine interrupts some of the game's processes, which includes the current swap. When you make an move, the game switches the positions of the gems, checks the board for matches, then reverses the swap if it's an illegal move. If you activate the reload graphics routine after the gems swap places, the game won't return them to the correct position. TLDR: Reload graphics during the 2nd half of an illegal move to move the gems.
