TEAM IISE DARPAN NUKKAD NATAK (HUMAN RIGHTS)

This Nukkad Natak or Street Play was performed by the TEAM IISE DARPAN of IISE College, Lucknow, on the theme of Human Rights. The team consisting of UG/PG students of the college, participated in the Annual Function of Lucknow University viz., SANSKRITI SURABHI on 14th December, 2022 and performed the play in the New Campus of Lucknow University.
In this play it has been endeavoured to shed light on some of the social evils of the society like CHILD LABOUR, GENDER EQUALITY, RESERVATION, GENDER SENSITIZATION and RAPE. Its major goal was to reach out to those who are marginalised by society and to spread the message using dramaturgical techniques that are straightforward and powerful. It focuses on people's social and political issues with the intention of raising awareness among everyone. It is more concerned with affecting social change.
