@@kekokus134 It most certainly does not. I've already answered this before in the comments, but if your antivirus flags it then it's because it sees it as an uncommon program and finds that suspicious. You can always upload it to virustotal and check there, it's safe and open-source.

@@hiimadoggg Hi! Not sure why you replied to this conversation :p But as for your question, it's because you have a mod enabled which changes the game config. Probably the time trials mod. The UbiRay utility only works right now if the game config hasn't been changed.

Oh haha, I wasn't expecting that the app would be up to date enough to have the end screen! That's quite neat. I don't think there's enough interest in the Legends challenges sadly. Funny enough the Stadia version has them enabled again and I think that's essentially just the PC version, so that makes it even more frustrating how they disabled them.

Glad you like it! As for controller button mapping, that's not supported in this program, but I believe you can using Ray2Fix (it has instructions to get it working through Steam): github.com/spitfirex86/Ray2Fix

Hello! This is such a great program for the Rayman community, so thank you for all the work that went into this! I do have a few questions though. I own Rayman 1 on the PC through GOG (Rayman Forever) and I see that it was instantly recognized by your program. I went ahead and installed the music patch through your program and everything works great, but unfortunately there are numerous other problems with the PC version of Rayman 1 that make me prefer the PS1 version. So my first question would be: If I emulate the PS1 version of Rayman 1 will it appear and be functional in your program? In the case that doesn't work I'd like to know if you might know of any fixes for the PC version. The first major issue was the music, but your patch works great for that. The other sound related problems are the sound effects for clearing a stage (Yeah!) and the sound for collecting Tings being severely downgraded on the PC version. Those are just aesthetic problems luckily, but I also can't seem to get my controller working correctly. Every time I launch the game it requires me to recalibrate the joystick, which also seems to uncalibrate during gameplay. This wouldn't be an issue as I prefer to use the D-Pad but that doesn't seem to function at all within DosBox. The other problem being that even though I can remap the 3 main controller buttons, the original mappings seem to still be in effect ALONG WITH my new mappings. So when I hit a button two moves will be triggered. That makes this version very frustrating to play, but I really would love to use your program with Rayman 1. I'm also interested in using your Rayman 1 level editing program, which I assume is primarily for the PC version. If you have any information that could help me out I would really appreciate it! (I'm using a PS4 controller btw, tested with & without DS4Windows)

Hi! Currently console games are not supported in RCP, but they will be in the next major update. Reg. sound effects, there's no patch for that, no. Reg. the controller, I'm not sure why it's not working for you. I'd probably recommend using a tool like Joy2Key which emulates the keyboard buttons in the game and allows you to freely map them to a controller. You can map things like the pause button then too. As for the level editor, it supports the PC and PS1 versions :)

You can run Rayman Gold using DOSBox. This program can make setting that up a bit easier yeah. As for Rayman 2, if you use the GOG version it should work fine on Windows 10.

Windows 7 is supported. Are you on a 32 or 64-bit machine? What is the error message you're getting?

@@RayCarrot 32 bits, and the error that appears its "the version of this file is not compatible with the version of windows you are running. check your computer's system information to see if you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the vendor"

Hi I have been using Rayman Control Panel for a while and it worked perfectly but I can't use it anymore because it's not compatibile with 32 bit os system. RayCarot please make it compatibile with 32 bit pc

In the latest update I switched over to have RCP be 64-bit so that the new memory mods would work with 64-bit emulators. I didn't expect there to be any users of the program still on 32-bit computers. Now there is an option to have RCP be able to run as both 32 and 64-bit. The problem is with the Archive Explorer then. Without going into too much technical detail there are two ways this could work: 1. Have RCP fully work on 32 and 64-bit systems, but the exe takes up around 25 mb of more space 2. Have RCP work on 32 and 64-bit systems, but on 32-bit systems you won't be able to convert images for Origins and Legends in the Archive Explorer. Neither of those options seemed so good to me which is why I dropped 32-bit support. But I'm open to changing my mind on this. Alternatively you can keep using the version before the latest update, but then you won't be able to receive any new features or bug fixes.

Hi! The work you have put into this is amazing. I do have one problem that I haven't been able to fix: When launching Rayman Forever with RCP DOSbox goes fullscreen but the game itself is tiny. When selecting a 3x scaler it becomes a little bigger but still only covers 960x600 pixels, being surrounded by blackness. Can't I stretch the game across the whole screen?

Should be yeah. If you add Rayman 1 and DOSBox to the Rayman Control Panel and open the Rayman 1 options it should fix most speed issues if you set it to use the recommended settings.

Hi! When I try to open this my Windows Defender antivirus says running this app might put my PC at risk and has prevented it. Do you know why this is?

It happens because Defender sees that it's a file uncommonly downloaded from the internet so it automatically flags it. Avast sometimes does the same, though there you can choose to scan it to have it then treat it as being safe. For Defender you have an option to still run it if you go to the more info section of the popup.

I could add that, but I don't really see the use case for it. Most, if not all, Rayman games allow you to delete your save in the game itself. Was there a specific use for it you had in mind?

@@RayCarrot Well, yeah it has a specific use. I was playing rayman 3 and for some reason i made different files that i wont use but for testing. and i don't use them anymore. Also i do not really know where the save files are located. (which is a problem.)

@@MojaMan25 You can manually delete them if you press the drop-down for the game in RCP and choose "Open Location". Then go to the GAMEDATA folder and then the SaveGame folder inside of that. There you'll find a file for each save slot in the game. I would imagine they can be deleted in-game as well, but I can't remember for sure.

That's sadly not possible due to the UI using WPF. I believe there's a guide on Reddit someone made for getting it to work on Linux.

I´ve installed rayman 2 through my original retail disc and the game doesn´t run. I even disabled the pirate head DRM through the rayman control panel and it still doesn´t work. I´m using Windows 10 as my OS and I´ve tried running both the rayman control panel and the game´s .exe as administrator. Is there something else I can try? Edit: I´m using the spanish retail version.

Sadly the original disc version has a lot of compatibility issues with newer computers. I'm not sure if there's an easy way of getting it to run well. You could maybe try a wrapper like DgVoodoo, but I would honestly recommend getting the GOG version instead if you can (it goes on sale for very cheap quite often).

I don't know anything about that really though. I don't own an Xbox. You can either edit the save to select the costume or edit the game files to make him selectable in-game, but none of those are particularly simple to do right now. Hopefully in the future we can have more tools for serializing the UbiArt engine files.

I installed a Rayman 60 Levels .cue file online but when I play it it says to install the CDRom, and when I put it in the Rayman Forever directory the soundtrack doesn't apply to the game. Any idea on what I should do? I'm considering purchasing the Rayman Forever CD if it has 60 Levels on it.

Mount the cue/bin and copy the 60n folder to your computer. Choose that in RCP when locating the game. Then go to the 60 Levels options in RCP and choose the .cue file as the mount path. Then the game should launch. I would not place it in the Forever folder like you did though.

That's not something you can do in the program, no. Some games support memory mods though which allow some things to be changed.

Though I know if you download the exe online it can try and prevent it from being opened due to it recognizing it as an uncommonly downloaded program. In the popup for that there's usually an option to run it anyway. If you're referring to the VirusTotal website then that doesn't detect any malware using any of its scans.

Hello there. I am trying to run my original cd of Rayman 2. The install was succesful, and I installed the Ray2Fix and Remove Pirate Head Drm patches. Unfortunately the game is not launching. Any advice?

Hi! Ray2Fix only works with the GOG version. In general I'd probably recommend using the GOG version instead as well (it goes on sale quite often). The original disc release has a lot of compatibility issues and can be quite tricky to get running correctly.

@@WH250398 You might be able to, but not sure. It won't work using Ray2Fix, but maybe you can manually apply the DgVoodoo wrapper. Then you probably also want to set the compatibility mode to Windows XP and run as admin. Also make sure to run the config first (you can do that in RCP - just make sure you save the config changes).

@@vicesquid69 It will ask to run as admin the first time so it can access the game configuration file for Rayman 2/M/3 without admin access in the future. This is because those games came out before the UAC was implemented to Windows and thus require admin access nowadays.

@@lpatryk2004 I don't have it downloaded right now, but the instructions should say that you should not be extracting the zip. It's intentionally corrupt as it's an empty file. All you should have to do is place the zip file in the specified location (without extracting it). It saying that RCP has support for this is incorrect. He probably wrote that since I had discussed wanting to do that. Problem is that to get backgrounds working you had to modify the game itself which isn't possible once it's installed. That's why icup made his own installable version.

So i forgot how i extracted ipk files of rayman origins and now wanna do it for legends. how do you do that?

It's done using the Archive Explorer tool. You can either find it for each game you have added, or you can access it from the Utilities page where it can be used for any .ipk file on your computer. Then just right-click the top-most folder and choose to extract it.

You could edit your save file from the progression page yeah. It will be in json format then which you can edit with a text editor. I was however considering making a mod for the game which would change the requirement for rank 11 to not require online challenges. Have you 100% completed the game right now? How many points do you have if so? Is it 4184?

There's no installation needed. All you need is to have the Unity version specified in the readme, download UbiCanvas and open it there.

For Rayman 3 I would recommend downloading Better Rayman 3 by RibShark. It has several fixes for the game, including for controllers. You can still add the game in RCP though, but for fixes for that game I'd recommend BR3.

@@drawingoloscsaj952 It's safe (just make sure you download it from a place like RibShark's post: raymanpc.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12854). I also just checked on virustotal myself and it's not that 2 viruses were found per say, but that two of the vendors they use detected it as malicious. That can happen with game modifications like these as some of those vendors are over sensitive. As you can see the majority of them, including the most well known ones, reports it as clean.

.ckd is not a file format. It's just the file extension for any cooked file. But all the game files can be serialized using ubi-canvas.

@@RuubsTeam You can download them from the GitHub releases. But I would not recommend doing so as they're outdated. You're app data will also need to be reset as it doesn't support downgrading. It would help me to know if it's some feature or something from an older version you're missing?

@@RuubsTeam I have not removed any options with importing files. Could you explain a bit more what you're looking for exactly? Once again I would not recommend older versions since there were multiple issues there which I have since fixed. No features reg. the Archive Explorer have been removed.
