Georgian judoka Beka Gviniashvili is 2013 and 2015 World Junior Champion and is the most successful junior athlete ever also with the Georgian Junior team. He took bronze at the European Championships in Warsaw in 2017 U90kg. He took gold at the Masters in St. Petersburg in 2017. Beka won a bronze medal at the European Championships in Prague and silver in Lisbon in 2021. He had silver at the IJF Judo masters in Doha in 2021. He captured a bronze medal at the Grand Slam in Baku in 2021 and gold at the Grand Slam in Tbilisi in 2022. He claimed the victory at the Grand Prix in Zagreb in 2022.
Nemanja Majdov
Country: Serbia | Born: 10 August 1996 (26 years)
Nemanja Majdov became World Champion U90kg in Budapest in 2017 and took bronze in 2019 after a period of injuries. He lives in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but since 2013 for Serbia. He won the European Junior title in 2014 in Bucharest and in 2016 in Malaga. He took silver at the 2018 Euros. Majdov won EC Cadet silver in 2013. He is younger brother of Stefan Majdov. He clinched the gold medal at the Grand Prix in Marrakech and Grand Slam Baku in 2019 among many other medals. He took a silver medal at the European Championships in Prague. He bagged silver at the Grand Slam of Tel Aviv in 2022.
