As the 2023-2024 Student Senator and a passionate advocate for DEIB initiatives, Beka's journey at Rio Salado College is nothing short of inspiring. Starting her academic journey in Behavioral Health Sciences and Addictions and Substance Counseling, Beka's dedication to personal growth and community service shines through. Drawn to Rio Salado for its flexibility and affordability, Beka found a supportive environment that allowed her to thrive both academically and personally. With plans to pursue a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in psychology at Arizona State University, Beka's future is bright.
