Why the variable names are letters and not the full word? I don't understand why use "t" instead of "template". Is this a standard in go? Seems weird

It's cleaner and more concise, I find, plus that's the spirit of Go - minimalism. But you're free to choose the variable's name you want, if a full phase even would make you happy, then go ahead. Nothing is weird of choosing t instead of template especially if it's in a control flow process.
