These guys are sick musicians and they are always having so much fun! A joy to watch as well as listen to.

I saw him live twice. The dude played a melody using his tuning pegs 😮 Bela is a genius

Bela Fleck is one of the few banjoist that i can listen too. Just saw him with Edgar Meyer, Zakir Hussein and a flautist that i can’t remember his name. It was great.

Wonderful, joyous music. Jazz and Bluegrass (particularly Bluegrass) both exude pure musical joy. When you also have musicianship at this level you get that blissful astonishment as well. It's music that makes me smile.

Knew Bela was a genius when I saw him (several times) in the mid 80’s with New Grass Revival. Great stuff.

I've seen close to 1000 concerts in my life. Bela 16 times. I'm no dummy.

Reminds me of Dixie Dregs in overall approach.

They're almost *too* good. For me, they're a lot like the Dixie Dregs, so hard to enjoy the songs because the musicianship blots out all attempts to write good melodies.
