Bela Fleck The Relix Session

Béla Fleck recently stopped by Relix to share a solo banjo performance. The ever-evolving virtuoso offered an improvisation, an original, a movement from his recent banjo concerto and a glimpse of his creative process. Fleck's newly reunited Flecktones just wrapped up a series of dates. Over the coming months he will perform with Chris Thile and also tour with his wife and collaborator Abigail Washburn.

I would argue that bela has had, and is still having, the greatest career of any string musician who's ever lived. Can anyone name someone who can match his discography, amount of original compositions, number of Grammy awards, amazing collaborations with top artists around the world and financial success? He is in a class by himself.
