The Belarus is on my list. That menu looked really good with a ton of new items I have not seen. The chocolate Carmel fudge bar looked awesome. Nice Review.

i ordered the z zombie ration and it was horrible the coffee stunk and the only thing that tasted normal was the cheese spread salt and peppper

You know it's a true ration of real food when there are cans. Proper food. I love the classic touch of the string, it would be nice if there was no coffee and three teas instead ;) Maybe one of those Russian chocolate bars instead of the extra 70g if condensed milk, I think there was enough before. All round though this beats the shht out of any mre

I had to smile when I saw the green biodegradable wooden cutlery. They pretty much negated any good intentions by placing them in a plastic bag lol. Looks like some great items, that sweetened condensed milk is huge!

Reminds me of Norwegian rice lunch items that are sold in a full plastic container in the store, but you get this awful wooden cutlery included. Like the packaging is probably 20 times the plastic the wooden spoon would have been.

The “Steve’s” are dominating the reviews on KZbin. Steve1989 is the king of rations but traversing foods Steve is a close second. Find it hard watching other reviewers after watching steve1989 but your videos are just so chill dude and I’m loving your ration choices.

That chocolate wafer bar looks like a Tunnocks Caramel Wafer Biscuit. If you haven't tried one, you should. They're delicious.

I purchased a 2022 one and recently got it in the mail. Has the same stuff. Just different flavors Instead of cheese flavored crisp bread, it was onion flavored. Moist towelettes had no smell. Those thick drinks were strawberry and raspberry. And the sweetened condensed milk was in a toothpaste tube. And my favorite main course was the buckwheat with beef. It was different and tasty.

Very cool Steve! Behind as always, on watching reviews. I am working , first to last, and, last to first. Maybe I will meet in the middle, someday, LOL. Nice looking ration , sir. I love, SCM, but, LOL, that is A lot, agreed. Cutlery set, is, different. Very cool. I love, Kasha, however, tushonka, rocks!! I like, crispbread, however, find it in A meal. Um, a bit late on this, but in eastern europan countries like Belarus, when you check dates, days and months are in reverse. So, expiration date wasn't June. It was February.

Greetings from Belarus! thanks for the review, it was very interesting to see. unfortunately, almost everything, with the exception of small bags of coffee (and possibly wooden dishes) was just bought in a regular store. while other countries produce specialized MRE, our ensigns go to supermarkets.

The chocolate wafer looks good. Don't recall having pear candy. When we were in England 5 years ago all they had was the balsa wood utensils.

The rule of thumb here in the UK is just chuck them in the compost bin and just use proper metal utensils cos usually they splinter or break in your mouth wen eating and its not a nice thing lol

Wow, I have a whole box of Belarusian cutlery. LOL. That is a lot of food. I think I have tried most of it in other rations other than the fruit drink things.

I have never used Belarusian cutlery, but I would love to . I remember using the tiny wooden paddles for ice cream. The right side of my face is numb and metal cutlery tends to burn the areas that have feeling, so the wood might be a good idea.

Ah, being a born&raised Southerner, I love boiled peanuts! I still get them occasionally canned. Not as good as home-cooked, but still good.

@@lancerevell5979 Nice to know i got some company 😄 Was born in Mississippi but after a month went to Michigan for 13 years. Been just outside of Little Rock, Arkansas the past 37 years though. How are the canned boiled peanuts? I would think they are really salty.

@@nuked99 Not as salty as I prefer. And half the can is hulls, so a lot of waste. But being old and handicapped I find cooking more difficult these days. So canned is convenient.

Unfortunately there are no menu's. The main meals do change up from box to box but you just never know which ones are inside.
