This tractor may be called "Belarus", but as far as I see it in this video it is absolutely the same as the Wladimirec T-25 (former XTZ T-25).

exports were called belarus but they’re also labeled vladimerits under the belarus sticker

Actually these tractors were manufactured not by Belarus MTZ tractor plant but by XTZ Harkov or Vladimir plants in RU. Original name are T-25A but they were exported under Belarus 250 name. They have 2cyl Air/Oil cooled engine witg 25hp There were T30 version with 4x4. P.s.: this tractor shoud be started using pressure releasing valve what let start to me very easy not as yong gentelmen shown - by 2 krank cyclees...

I bought one new in 1992 and it only has 400 hours on it. The hours are probobly right because most people cant stand to run them things too long.

Can anyone explain how to put in gears? I got 1st (low), then reverse(fast). I have tried a bunch of ways, push forward, depress shifter, then right, for low, clutch, down to first on right, then reverse on left. I have gotten into 1st (high) but not sure how I did it. I am frustrated, any help would be appreciated.

That's not an BELARUS! In all post-Soviet states tractor is called T-25!

J G pretty good , I bought mine in ‘84. Have to make sure no rats or birds build nests between cooling fins. Not hard to maintain. Just do checks before and after using. Take care of it ALWAYS!! It is a very no frills machine but it does everything I need well. Good luck
