I love Belarus's anthem and culture. I'm thankful that Lukashenko has spared his country from the pain and humiliation that most of Eastern Europe has endured since 1989.

Back in 1999 while dominant forces of the world were dropping bombs on Yugoslavia and Belgrade attempting to break the spine of our independence, benevolent leader Lukashenko came to Belgrade and bowed down to Yugoslav flag. His deeds wont be forgotten.

Its a very nice hymn. If I would be a Belarussian i would be proud of it. Indeed Belarus is one of the last countries in Europe where the WEF can not get a hold. Make sure it stays like that for a long time. Despite what western media says about your president...I think he is a great man. Regards from the Netherlands!!

Greetings from Ukraine my friend. I am sure the day will come when all of our countries are truly free and prosperous, democratic and without the need to stay outside for anyone. As things stand right now we Ukrainians are fighting very hard to for that every step of the way. I mean I have to fight with my own parents trying to convince them that Europe is our only hope...not the ways of the past. Yet I am sure - at the end of the day we will succeed

I have had the privilege and the honour to live in that beautiful country, I lived one year in Minsk. I also visited Brest, Moguilev, Gomel, Vitebsk, Grodno, Borisov.... And I break to tears every time I listen to this anthem. After living all my life under the European Union yoke, it was amazing for me to see a 100% white country, away from the fucking multiculturality, no inmigration, no crime, no Islam, no feminism, where men are men and women are women; a sane country where there may be economical problems, as in other european countries, but it is a HEALTH nation, proud of its heritage, ancestors and tradition. LONG LIVE TO BELARUS!

Belarus is such an awesome country... The mix of old world and soviet culture is present in this country, unlike other post-soviet states who forgot their glorious soviet past. Lukashenko made the country good and great, bless him!
@svitlanas43159 жыл бұрын
"Glorious" You mean how they were under pro russian control and were forced to fight the germans? You mean when their people were treated badly, and Moscow was a booming city? My mother, father lived in the USSR and it wasn't good. All the soviet propoganda makes it look like the US is a nazi country but the soviets are basically heaven on earth. More like hell on earth. Red hell.

***** Personally though, isn't Belarusian easier to learn than Russian? Belarusian dooesn't have multiple sounds for the same letter, and the words can often be much shorter. Like "Dziarzhawny" instead of "Gosudarstvenny" and "Biaspieki" instead of "Bezopasnosti".
@FlagArmadaProductions8 жыл бұрын
***** Personally I wish the entire Soviet Union adopted Belarusian instead of Russian, it seems much simpler. But of course, Russia was the leading power.
@FlagArmadaProductions8 жыл бұрын
***** I disagree. Linguists define it as a language. And if it really had no formal law, why was it even reformed in 1933 by the Soviets? Still, I agree that Belarusian should not be forced upon the people if they don't want it. Nonetheless, according to a survey by the political scientist Grigory Ioffe, around 70% of people favor encouraging its use. So I certainly support encouragement. (But this is exactly what the Lukashenka regime is doing right now tbh, to distance themselves from Russia following deteriorating relations)
@FlagArmadaProductions9 жыл бұрын
But Belarus actually does not mean "White Russia", it means "White Ruthenia". We have names like "Weissrussland" and "Bai E" merely because of foreign error in interpreting the meaning of "Rus".
