I am a bass singer in a church choir here in Cambridge, UK. We are singing many different authors and songs, some more interesting and beautiful than others. When we sang this Rutter song a few months ago I realised this is the best one I have heard so far. This choir in Lithuania sound like pros already. Thanks for recording and posting this video. Happy happy memories from childhood in the 80s. My mother was a choral director, music was her life. Songs like this shaped my musical taste and my life. Beautiful performance!

John Rutter choral arrangements are among the all around very best. This performance if the listener could understand the words might be meaningful. The dynamics seem to be movingly appropriate with the excellent accompaniment however without intelligible lyrics it is nothing more than rhythmically coordinated melodic harmonies!
