Thanks for the shout out! lol Many think this song is a follow up to the her song Love You Still which dealt with her estrangement from her father. As always, thank you for supporting this generational 'Indie" artist. Glad you are feeling better.....have a great rest of the week!

Even without the mind-blowing techniques, her vocals are a thing of beauty. Clever lyrics switching context from hoping at the wishing well to resignation and wishing them well. So many spectacular performances, but you might check out some of her casual/informal "at home" social media performances during pandemic, such as "This Is Me." Another favorite is "Fly Like a Bird" (black and white) during that time.

Her voice carries so much emotion with it. You feel the weight of her sadness and the tremendous loss she feels. I watched a video the other day of Karolina Protsenko the violin prodigy who dances while she plays and has been a street performer in L.A. since she was like 5. She is 14-16 now and got the opportunity to play a multi-million-dollar Stradivarius. What I'm getting at, and I'll send link to that video with this, the tone this violin produced under this girl's touch was one of those experiences that can't be expressed with words. Morissette has such control over her own 'Stradivarius' that the tone along with her ability to control the emotional emphasis of a song is rivaled by none. I feel it is a travesty that everyone hasn't had the extremely wonderful opportunity to hear that voice and what it does with music. I'm sure anyone reading this will go, 'what has this guy been smoking', and I'm fine with that. I think you will understand when you hear the sound that violin makes. Please listen to the video and see if you can understand what I mean. Glad you are feeling better. Can't say for 100%, but it does feel like another attempt to bring family back into her life. Dave and her, certainly tend to write on topics that are truly life experiences. Her emotions pour off every word in this song. WB and hope you are on the mend , my friend.

Love this original song from Mori. The lyrics are so meaningful. This was one of three songs sung that day. She sang two duets, one with Dave, which was the last song of the three. The first was with Ferdinand Aragon, a wedding song written for a friend's wedding a few years ago, Mori was looking for a song in Bisaya, her home dialect, and she has worked with Ferdinand before and a few other song writers from Cebu, trying to remember the title, I have it, ANG PAGHUWAT, there's I think 4 versions, there's the studio version with captions, then live on ASAP, plus another TV show, then on the 107.5bus, then enjoy. 😊
